Eating Instant Noodles in Mobile Toilets
It is not advisable to eat instant noodles in places like mobile toilets. The following explains the actual situation and the reasons for this recommendation:

I. Actual Situation
There are indeed cases of people eating instant noodles in places related to mobile toilets, such as public restrooms and dry latrines. For example, a roommate once soaked instant noodles in a toilet bowl in a public restroom and ate half of them. Although this behavior is extreme, it reflects that some people may do so due to special reasons or a lack of hygiene awareness. Additionally, three students from a primary school in Jilin were found eating instant noodles in a dry latrine by their physical education teacher, indicating that the phenomenon of eating instant noodles in toilets is not an isolated case and may occur among people of different age groups.
II. Reasons for Not Recommending It
- Hygiene Issues: Toilets are places for excretion, and the environment is usually poor. There may be unpleasant odors in the air, and a large number of bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms are present. Eating instant noodles in a toilet can easily contaminate the food, increasing the risk of the eater contracting diseases such as intestinal infections and respiratory infections.
- Psychological Impact: The environment in a toilet can easily make people feel uncomfortable and nauseated. Eating in such an environment may affect appetite and even have a negative impact on mental health. Over time, it may lead to problems such as anorexia and anxiety.
- Blockage Risk: If the leftover instant noodles are directly poured into the toilet, the residue may not be able to pass through the sewer smoothly. Especially when there is a large amount of residue or the toilet sewer is not reasonably designed, it can easily cause blockages, bringing trouble to subsequent cleaning and maintenance.
- Social Norms: Eating in a toilet does not conform to general social behavior norms and hygiene habits. It may cause disgust and discomfort in others and affect the harmony and order of the public environment.
