Mobile Toilet Dry Latrine Installation Guide
Admin October 11, 2026
Here is the installation guide for mobile toilet dry latrines:

I. Confirm the Sewage Disposal Method Before installation, it is necessary to determine the sewage disposal type of the toilet. If it is a packing-type or microbial degradation-type toilet, the equipment can be directly moved to the predetermined location for management without the need for additional sewage pipeline laying. Such designs achieve harmless treatment of feces through built-in treatment systems and are suitable for scenarios without access to sewers.
II. Prepare Installation Tools After receiving the goods, the following tools need to be prepared in advance:
- Electric Drill: Used for drilling holes at the connections of the panels;
- 4.2-millimeter Drill Bit: Matches the specification of the rivets to ensure accurate hole diameter;
- Rivet Gun: Used for fixing the connections of the panels;
- Auxiliary Tools: Such as a spirit level, wrench, steel wire rope (for lifting), etc. Having all the tools ready can avoid interruptions during installation and improve efficiency.
III. Assemble the Main Structure
- Install Inner Corner Components: Fix the inner corner brackets in sequence according to the design drawings to ensure vertical angles;
- Join Panels: Insert the panels into the slots, align the edges, and then drill holes at the connections with the drill bit;
- Secure Rivets: Insert the rivets and reinforce them with the rivet gun to ensure tight connections between the panels without looseness. Note: During the joining process, use a spirit level for calibration to avoid structural tilting that may affect stability.
IV. Move and Position for Installation
- Lifting of Large Equipment:
- Pointed Roof Design: The main load-bearing part is near the top, and steel wire ropes need to be connected to the lifting hook points of the crane;
- Flat Roof Design: The lifting hooks reserved by the manufacturer are the main load-bearing points, and uniform force should be applied during lifting;
- Pushing of Small Equipment: Small toilets with less than 4 toilet compartments can be equipped with casters at the bottom and pushed to the designated location manually. Safety Tip: When lifting, confirm the load-bearing capacity of the ground to avoid tilting or tipping over.
V. Inspection and Debugging
- Facility Integrity Inspection: Confirm that accessories such as door locks, air vents, and lighting are not damaged;
- Function Testing:
- Packing-type: Check if the feces packing bags are properly installed;
- Microbial Degradation-type: Verify the activity of the microbial strains and the operating status of the ventilation system;
- Sealing Detection: Check for water leakage at the joints to ensure that the odor control effect meets the standard. After debugging is completed, an acceptance form needs to be filled out to ensure that the equipment meets the usage standards.
