Mobile Toilet Drainage Methods
There are mainly four types of drainage methods for mobile toilets: conventional flushing, vacuum sewage systems, water-storage sewage systems, and biodegradation technology.

Conventional flushing: This is a relatively common drainage method that requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes. During use, flushing is triggered manually or by an automatic sensing device, discharging sewage into a septic tank or municipal sewer network. This sewage disposal method is suitable for various water-rich environments, such as some public places in cities and areas around construction sites. Its construction cost is relatively low because it mainly relies on the existing water supply and drainage pipe systems and does not require additional complex equipment. However, it has a strong dependence on water sources and drainage pipes. If the area does not have well-established water and electricity facilities, this method is not very suitable.
Vacuum sewage systems: This system operates based on the principle of negative pressure. A vacuum pump generates negative pressure to suck sewage and waste into a collection container. When the sewage reaches a preset water level, the vacuum pump automatically starts and quickly sucks in the sewage and waste. This discharge method has many advantages, including high efficiency and low water consumption, which can save a large amount of water resources compared to conventional flushing. At the same time, it effectively prevents sewage leakage and odor diffusion, ensuring the hygiene and comfort of the interior and surrounding environment of the mobile toilet. However, the equipment cost of vacuum sewage systems is relatively high, requiring professional equipment such as vacuum pumps, and subsequent maintenance also requires certain technical skills and costs.
Water-storage sewage systems: It discharges waste into a storage tank through flushing. When the sewage reaches a preset water level, the flushing device automatically starts and flushes the waste into the storage tank. When the storage tank is full, it needs to be cleaned and replaced. This system is suitable for places with sufficient water sources and easy cleaning, such as some large-scale event venues where there is an adequate water supply and a dedicated cleaning team can clean the storage tank in a timely manner. However, if cleaning is not timely, odor problems may occur.
Biodegradation technology: Some mobile toilets adopt this advanced technology, which can convert organic matter in sewage into harmless substances for discharge. This method is very environmentally friendly, reducing sewage pollution to the environment and conforming to the concept of sustainable development. However, biodegradation technology requires specific microbial environments and conditions, has high requirements for equipment design and operation management, and the cost is relatively high.
