Connection Method for Mobile Toilet Drain Pipes
The connection method for mobile toilet drain pipes should follow the steps below to ensure smooth drainage and reliable sealing:

Selecting the Installation Location The installation location for the drain pipe should meet the requirements of good ventilation and convenient drainage, while leaving enough space for operation and maintenance. Avoid installing the drain pipe in low-lying or easily waterlogged areas to prevent sewage backflow. If using a ground-connected PVC drain pipe, plan the drainage path according to the layout of the restroom, ensuring a pipe slope of 2% to 5% (i.e., a drop of 2-5 cm per meter), which is crucial for smooth drainage.
Connecting the Sewage Outlet to the Drain Pipe
- Interface Matching: Choose an appropriate interface (such as a PVC pipe or rubber sleeve) based on the size of the mobile toilet's sewage outlet, ensuring that the interface type is fully compatible with the drain pipe.
- PVC Pipe Assembly: If using a PVC drain pipe, prepare pipe fittings (elbows, tees, straight connectors), special glue, and other materials. Measure the pipe length according to the planned path, keep the cut end even when cutting, and sand the burrs on the pipe end to avoid scratching the sealing layer.
- Glue Bonding: Apply PVC special glue evenly on the outside of the pipe spigot and the inside of the fitting socket, quickly insert and rotate 90 degrees, maintaining pressure for 10-15 seconds until initial curing. Avoid applying force within 24 hours after bonding to prevent glue failure.
Fixing the Pipe and Adjusting the Slope
- Pipe Clamp Installation: Drill holes in the ground or wall according to the planned path, install pipe clamps or expansion bolts, and secure the main pipe firmly.
- Slope Verification: Use a level to check the pipe slope, ensuring it meets the design requirements. A slope that is too small will result in slow drainage, while a slope that is too large may cause interface loosening.
Branch Pipe Connection and Sealing Treatment
- Tee Opening: Use tee fittings to open holes in the main pipe for connecting branch pipes according to the positions of the toilet and sink. Keep the pipe wall smooth when opening holes to avoid burrs affecting the seal.
- Seal Enhancement: Apply sealing glue to all connections (including the sewage outlet and fitting interfaces), ensuring even coverage of the contact surface and pressing firmly until tightly fitted. For rubber interfaces, metal clamps can be added to enhance the seal.
Usage and Maintenance Tips
- Level Calibration: After installation, check if the drain pipe is vertical or horizontal. Excessive tilt can easily lead to sewage retention or backflow.
- Regular Cleaning: Clean the drain pipe monthly using a pipe unclogging agent or manually to prevent blockages caused by grease and debris. In winter, pay attention to frost prevention to avoid pipe cracking.
- Odor Prevention Measures: Install a trap or odor-proof core at the drainage outlet to isolate odors using a water seal and enhance the user experience.
Precautions: Turn off the water supply before operation and wear protective gloves; the bonding glue is irritating and should be used in a well-ventilated environment; if drilling holes in the wall, ensure there are no water or electrical lines interfering.
