How to Apply Stickers on Mobile Toilet Doors
Refer to the following steps for applying stickers on mobile toilet doors. Ensure you have all the necessary tools and follow the steps properly for the best results:

1. Preparation
Gather stickers, cleaning agents or alcohol wipes, a scraper, a ruler, scissors, a craft knife, and other tools. If the stickers come with adhesive backing, confirm that the adhesive is suitable for the door material (e.g., plastic, metal, or wood). It is recommended to apply the stickers on the inside of the mobile toilet door for enhanced privacy, durability, and easier installation.
2. Clean the Door Surface
Thoroughly wipe the door surface with a cleaning agent or alcohol wipe to remove dust, grease, or residual adhesive. Ensure the door surface is dry and free of water spots or particles, as these can cause the stickers to wrinkle or peel off. If the door surface has a textured finish, lightly sand it smooth with sandpaper.
3. Measure and Cut
Use a ruler to measure the length and width of the door, then mark the dimensions on the back of the sticker and cut it accordingly. The edges of the sticker can be 1-2 centimeters larger than the door surface for easier trimming and alignment later. If the door has a special shape (e.g., curved or cut-out), use a template to assist with cutting.
4. Plan the Layout (Optional)
Hold the cut sticker against the door to determine its position and arrangement. Use a pencil or erasable marker to mark horizontal lines or center points to ensure the sticker is symmetrical and oriented correctly. For complex patterns, assemble and test-fit them in advance.
5. Peel the Backing and Initial Fixation
Lay the sticker flat on a table and slowly peel back the backing paper by about 10 centimeters. At the same time, use the scraper to press the sticker flat on the table to avoid bending or static electricity attracting dust. Align the exposed adhesive part with the marked position on the door and gently press down to fix one corner.
6. Gradual Application and Air Removal
- Method 1: Starting from the fixed corner, slowly peel back the adhesive with one hand while using the scraper or a credit card to smooth the sticker from the center to the edges with the other hand, peeling and pressing simultaneously to prevent air bubbles.
- Method 2: After completely peeling off the adhesive, apply the sticker to one side of the door as a whole and use the scraper to push out the air at a 45-degree angle. For large stickers, it is recommended to work with two people, with one person holding the sticker taut and the other applying it.
7. Handle Air Bubbles and Wrinkles
If air bubbles appear, use a craft knife to make a small cut at the edge of the bubble (the cut should be less than 1 millimeter), press out the air with your finger, and then flatten the cut. For wrinkles, gently lift the sticker, use a hot air blower on low heat to soften the adhesive layer, and then smooth it out again.
8. Trim the Edges and Finish Up
Use scissors or a craft knife to trim the excess sticker along the edge of the door frame, keeping the cut perpendicular to the door surface. Press the sticker down again with the scraper over the entire area to ensure the adhesive layer makes full contact with the door. Finally, check if the corners of the sticker are lifting and secure them with a small amount of adhesive if necessary.
9. Curing and Inspection
After applying the sticker, let it sit for 24 hours without touching or moving the door. Check if the sticker is flat and free of air bubbles, paying special attention to the edges and corners. If there are any defects, repair them promptly.
