Mobile Toilet Door Size Standard

Admin October 08, 2026

The size standards for mobile toilet doors vary depending on the type of door, as detailed below:

The standard size for swing doors is typically 200x85cm, with a minimum width requirement of 75cm for toilet doors. If the width is less than 70cm, adults may find it difficult to enter and exit, affecting the user experience. When the width is less than 60cm, not only is entry and exit inconvenient, but there may also be issues with fitting a bathroom cabinet. Therefore, when designing and installing swing doors, it is essential to ensure that the width meets this minimum standard to satisfy basic usage needs.

The size standards for sliding doors are relatively more complex. The maximum width for a single sliding door is 650mm, with a corresponding door opening size of 700mm on architectural drawings to ensure proper installation and smooth sliding. For single-sided sliding doors, a minimum clear width of 650mm should be reserved to allow for easy passage of people. The situation is different for bidirectional sliding doors, which require a 650mm passage and typically have a door width of 1300mm. This design can accommodate general pedestrian traffic. If two streams of people need to pass through simultaneously, the door width should be extended to 2200mm to prevent crowding and collisions, enhancing usage efficiency and safety.

Folding doors are suitable for small bathrooms with limited door openings, with an opening width of up to 80 centimeters. This design allows for door operation within a confined space, saving space while meeting basic isolation and usage requirements. In compact mobile toilets, folding doors are an ideal choice.

In the actual design and installation of mobile toilets, it is necessary to consider factors such as the specific usage scenario, space size, and pedestrian traffic to comprehensively select the appropriate door type and size, ensuring the comfort and convenience of mobile toilet use.
