Mobile Toilet Door Renovation Plan
There are several main renovation plans for mobile toilet doors:

Complete relocation: If the layout allows, moving the toilet door is a more thorough renovation method. By changing the flow of movement, the door's position can be shifted horizontally or recessed. Horizontal shifting can be done towards an adjacent wall, while recessing involves moving the door opening inward into the toilet. However, it should be noted that only non-load-bearing walls allow for new door openings, and the new door should be at least 80 cm away from the foot of the bed to ensure unobstructed passage for two people. After relocation, the original door opening must be thoroughly sealed and waterproofed to prevent leakage. If the toilet is already tiled, the new door opening should be completed before moving the door to avoid damaging the waterproof layer.
Using newly built walls for concealment: Build a half-wall between the living room and the toilet to cleverly hide the toilet door behind it, which does not affect the flow of movement and avoids awkward视线 (view) when sitting on the sofa watching TV.
Extending the TV background wall: Customize a full-wall TV cabinet and extend its length to the toilet entrance, incorporating the toilet door into the cabinet and designing it as a hidden door. This creates a visually complete TV wall and adds storage space.
Setting up an independent buffer zone: For master bedroom suites (with an area of ≥18㎡), there is sufficient depth to create a functional transition area. An independent buffer zone, such as a walk-in closet or dressing area, can be set up to indirectly solve the problem of the toilet door's position.
Other concealment methods:
- Erecting partitions: If the toilet has good dry-wet separation, a long-hong glass partition can be erected in the dry area to divide the space without blocking light, maintaining a sense of openness.
- Using a chest of drawers with a screen: Use a chest of drawers with a screen as an end view. Upon entering, one sees an exquisite cabinet and ornaments, with the toilet door hidden behind.
- Green plant partitions: Place several tall fiddle-leaf fig trees or bird of paradise plants to flexibly and naturally conceal the toilet door.
- Creating arched door openings: Use gypsum board to create arched door openings, paired with artistic glass, to turn the toilet door into a decorative element.
- Recessing the door opening or hanging a curtain in the dry area: When space is extremely limited, the door opening can be recessed or a curtain can be hung in the dry area to alleviate visual impact and add a touch of life.
- Combining a thin cabinet with a glass screen: Use a narrow cabinet for books and a glass screen behind it to block the line of sight without affecting air circulation.
