Mobile Toilet Door Installation Method

Admin October 07, 2026

The installation of a mobile toilet door (bathroom sliding door) can be carried out according to the following steps:

Step 1: Fix the Frame
Use a spirit level to determine the vertical reference point to ensure the verticality of the frame installation. After marking the position on the wall, evenly apply structural adhesive and preliminarily fix the frame on the wall. The structural adhesive should be of a waterproof and weather-resistant type to adapt to the humid environment of the bathroom. After fixing, let it stand for a while until the adhesive is initially cured before proceeding with subsequent operations to avoid frame displacement.

Step 2: Install the Track System
The track consists of two parts: the ceiling track and the floor track. If there are light steel keels or concrete structures on the bathroom ceiling, the ceiling track can be installed directly; if the ceiling is made of hollow panels or gypsum boards, hot-dip galvanized square tubes need to be welded in advance as false beams for support. Use a spirit level to calibrate the verticality of the ceiling track and the height of the false beams respectively to ensure that there is a gap of 2-3 centimeters between the track and the future ceiling to avoid affecting the operation of the door during later ceiling construction. The floor track installation should ensure a complete fit with the ground. When fixing with expansion bolts, control the force to prevent damage to the waterproof layer.

Step 3: Debug the Pulley Components
Install the pulley components on the top of the door body and hang them into the ceiling track for repeated push-pull testing. Focus on checking the fit between the pulleys and the track to ensure there is no jamming, abnormal noise, or shaking. If the operation is not smooth, adjust the height of the pulleys or the levelness of the track. If necessary, apply a small amount of lubricating grease to the contact surface of the track. The debugging of the floor track pulleys should be carried out simultaneously to ensure that the door body remains stable in the vertical direction.

Step 4: Assemble the Door Body and Finish Up
Lift the door body onto the track system and install a damping device to reduce the impact force when closing the door and extend its service life. When tightening the door lock screws, use a torque wrench to control the force to avoid damaging the lock body. Finally, apply glass adhesive at the joints between the door frame and the wall and the ground for sealing. Choosing neutral silicone adhesive can prevent corrosion of metal components. The adhesive should be applied continuously and evenly to form a 45-degree bevel to enhance the waterproof effect. After it is completely cured, clean up the excess adhesive.

Precautions:

  1. Before installation, confirm that the door opening size matches the door body and reserve a gap of 2-3 millimeters to prevent deformation due to thermal expansion and contraction.
  2. The installation surface of the track should be kept dry and clean to avoid the structural adhesive or expansion bolts coming into contact with moisture, which may affect the bonding strength.
  3. During the debugging stage, simulate different usage scenarios, such as rapid push-pull and gentle closing, to ensure that all functions are normal.
