Mobile Toilet Dismantling and Assembly

Admin September 24, 2026

The dismantling and assembly of mobile toilets need to be carried out according to different scenarios and requirements, mainly divided into two situations: illegal structure removal and normal dismantling and assembly applications.

Illegal Structure Removal

If a mobile toilet is an unauthorized construction without planning approval, such as one built on a rooftop without permission, it constitutes an illegal act. According to Article 40, Paragraph 1 of the Urban and Rural Planning Law of the People's Republic of China, such construction poses a high risk of falling hazards, and law enforcement agencies will require the parties involved to remove it in accordance with the law. For example, in a case handled by the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team in Shanyang Town, Jinshan District, the party involved illegally built a mobile toilet on the rooftop terrace. After education and dissuasion, they voluntarily committed to removing all illegal structures by August 25th. On August 26th, law enforcement officers conducted a follow-up inspection and confirmed that all structures had been removed. Illegal structure removal must be carried out by the parties involved or law enforcement agencies in accordance with the law to ensure safety and compliance and avoid causing harm to public interests.

Normal Dismantling and Assembly Applications

In normal application scenarios, the design of mobile toilets emphasizes the convenience and flexibility of dismantling and assembly. For example, Beijing Sanitation's mobile restrooms adopt a split-box structure, with individual prefabrication of compartments, sewage systems, water supply modules, ventilation devices, and lighting units. The wall materials are selected from high-density polyethylene or fiberglass, offering both corrosion resistance and lightweight properties. This structure allows more than 85% of the assembly processes to be completed in the factory, with only the rapid connection of pipelines and foundation fixing required on-site, greatly facilitating dismantling, assembly, and relocation. For instance, during large-scale events, a combination mode of "1 management unit + 10 toilet units" can be adopted. After the event, the units can be quickly dismantled and relocated to other areas, achieving efficient resource utilization. Normal dismantling and assembly must follow design specifications to ensure stable connections between modules, accurate pipeline connections, and proper foundation fixing and on-site safety to avoid equipment damage or safety accidents due to improper operation.

Whether for illegal structure removal or normal dismantling and assembly applications, the dismantling and assembly of mobile toilets must be carried out according to specific scenarios and requirements to ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency.
