Mobile Toilet Disassembly
The disassembly of mobile toilets can be approached from three dimensions: structural modularity, independent functional components, and ease of maintenance. The core design lies in achieving efficient assembly and disassembly, as well as maintenance, through standardized interfaces and quick-release structures.

I. Structural Modular Disassembly
The mobile restrooms used by Beijing Sanitation adopt a split-box structure, dividing the entire unit into independent modules such as compartments, sewage systems, water supply modules, ventilation units, and lighting elements. The wall materials are selected from high-density polyethylene or fiberglass, offering corrosion resistance and lightweight properties. The modular design allows over 85% of the assembly processes to be completed in the factory, with only the connection between modules via pipeline quick connectors and fixation to the foundation required on-site. For example, the sewage system compresses waste into a storage tank through an integrated vacuum suction device, with the tank separating from the main structure via a quick-release valve, eliminating the need for underground pipeline modifications and facilitating overall disassembly and transportation.
II. Independent Functional Component Disassembly
- Smart Management Module: The intelligent systems and self-cleaning components (such as microbial degradation chambers and ceramic membrane filtration units) of certain models (e.g., Beijing mobile integrated toilets) are designed modularly. The microbial degradation chamber can be removed separately for cleaning, with its internal filler requiring periodic replacement; the ceramic membrane filtration unit has a pore size of less than 0.1 microns, with the membrane layer removable via standardized interfaces for replacement.
- Energy System: The independent power supply system operates collaboratively with solar photovoltaic panels and battery packs. The photovoltaic panels are fixed with removable brackets, supporting individual replacement; the battery packs feature a drawer design for easy and quick maintenance.
- Water Supply System: The gray water filtration unit for sinks and the rainwater collection unit (including a UV disinfection module) are connected via standardized interfaces, allowing the filter elements and disinfection lamps to be disassembled and replaced independently without dismantling the entire pipeline.
III. Maintenance-Friendly Design
Mobile toilets employ quick-release hardware and standardized accessories, with single-component replacement times controlled within 20 minutes. For example, key components such as the vacuum suction device in the sewage system and the water pump in the water supply module are secured with bolts or clips, enabling disassembly without specialized tools; the exhaust fans in the ventilation units and the LED light panels in the lighting units feature plug-and-play connections, supporting rapid replacement. Additionally, the vacuum collection tanks and microbial degradation filler chambers in the waste treatment section are equipped with pressure relief valves and discharge ports, allowing for simple operations to separate the tanks and clean the waste.
Through modular design and standardized interfaces, mobile toilets achieve efficient disassembly from structural to functional components, reducing transportation and installation costs while enhancing the flexibility of post-maintenance.
