Mobile Toilet Design Types

Admin October 09, 2026

The design types of mobile toilets are mainly reflected in their structural forms and manufacturing methods, as detailed below:

Classification by Structural Form

  • Single-unit Mobile Toilets: These types of mobile toilets typically exist as independent units with a relatively simple and compact overall structure. They generally feature complete functional areas, including a toilet space and a sewage disposal system, with all components integrated into a relatively small space. The advantages of single-unit mobile toilets include ease of movement and installation, allowing them to be flexibly placed in various locations according to actual needs, such as construction sites and temporary event venues. Due to their small size, they have relatively low site requirements and can be quickly put into use to meet short-term needs.
  • Composite-structure Mobile Toilets: Composite-structure mobile toilets are composed of multiple single units or incorporate more complex structural designs. They can include multiple independent toilet compartments and may also be equipped with additional functional areas such as washrooms and management rooms. This type of mobile toilet offers more comprehensive functionality, capable of meeting the needs of larger groups of people, making them suitable for large-scale events and tourist attractions. The design of composite-structure mobile toilets places greater emphasis on overall aesthetics and coordination, potentially incorporating modern design elements to better blend with the surrounding environment.

Classification by Manufacturing Method

  • Manufacturing Using Materials Such as Buckets, Wooden Boards, and Universal Wheels: During the manufacturing process, a base is first installed to provide stable support for the entire mobile toilet. Buckets are then fixed to serve as water storage devices or sewage containers. Next, cutouts are made for entry and exit points to facilitate personnel movement. The structure is heightened to meet usage height requirements, and wooden doors are installed to ensure privacy. Drainage pipes are connected for sewage disposal, and finally, toilet fixtures and showerheads are installed to provide basic functionality. This manufacturing method is relatively simple, with easily obtainable materials and low costs, making it suitable for occasions with lower hygiene requirements and limited budgets.
  • Manufacturing Using Materials Such as Water Storage Tanks and Support Plates: First, universal wheels are fixed to facilitate movement. Water storage tanks are placed to store clean water, and cutouts are made for installing toilet fixtures and other equipment. The tank body is secured to ensure stability, and doorways are cut for personnel access. After installing the toilet, water pipes and faucets are fixed to provide clean water for users. A washbasin is installed for handwashing, a showerhead is connected to meet showering needs, and finally, a door is installed to ensure privacy. Mobile toilets manufactured using this method offer relatively comprehensive functionality and can provide a better user experience.
