Mobile Toilet Design Bathtub Size

Admin October 12, 2026

The common sizes of mobile bathtubs can be classified into the following categories based on shape and applicable scenarios. When designing, it is necessary to combine spatial layout and usage requirements for selection:

I. Regular Sizes Classified by Shape

  1. Square Bathtubs The length ranges from 1.5 meters to 1.9 meters, with 1.7 meters being the most common specification. The width is mainly between 0.7 meters and 0.9 meters, with 0.8 meters being the most frequently used. The height is between 0.58 meters and 0.9 meters, with 0.7 meters being a typical value. Such bathtubs are suitable for bathrooms with regular spaces and can meet the needs of multiple people using them or deep soaking.

  2. Round Bathtubs The diameters are concentrated between 1.5 meters and 1.8 meters. Due to their large water consumption and wide floor area, they are mostly found in villas or large-sized bathrooms. Their design requires sufficient activity space to be reserved, and the bearing capacity of the drainage system needs to be considered.

  3. Oval Bathtubs The sizes are similar to those of square bathtubs, but there is a special form - wooden bathtubs with a length of less than 1.4 meters and a relatively high height. Such bathtubs are suitable for scenarios where a natural style is pursued or soaking in a sitting position is required, but attention should be paid to the moisture-proof treatment of wooden materials.

II. Sizes Optimized According to Usage Scenarios

  1. Suitable for Small Apartments It is recommended to choose sit-in bathtubs (1100×700×475mm) or fan-shaped bathtubs. The former maximizes space utilization by shortening the length and increasing the depth, while the latter reduces the floor area by utilizing corner layouts. In addition, thin-edged design models such as the Jomoo YR10615 (outer dimensions 1516×716mm, inner depth 450mm) further save space by reducing the thickness of the frame.

  2. Suitable for the Elderly/Children Priority should be given to low-sided designs (height ≤ 450mm) to reduce the difficulty of getting in and out, and at the same time, non-slip bottoms or handrails should be equipped. Mini bathtubs (length 1.2 meters) can reduce the risk of slipping and are suitable for children's height. If it is necessary to accommodate adults as well, adjustable-height folding bathtubs can be selected.

  3. Immersion Experience Requirements Models with a depth of ≥ 460mm (such as the Langjing 0220 Jingmu 1.5-meter specification) can achieve half-body soaking, but it is necessary to confirm whether the ceiling height of the bathroom allows installation. It is recommended that such bathtubs be equipped with a backrest design to enhance comfort during long-term use.

III. General Sizes for Ordinary Families The lower limit of the length is 1500mm, with the mainstream range being between 1.2 meters and 1.7 meters, and the depth is mostly between 400mm and 480mm. When selecting, it is necessary to measure the net dimensions of the bathroom to ensure that there is at least 600mm of passage space after the bathtub is installed, and a maintenance access opening should be reserved.
