Mobile Toilet Description
Mobile toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole and provide toilet services to the public, suitable for both fixed and temporary demand locations. The following is an introduction from the aspects of types, characteristics, application scenarios, and installation specifications:

I. Diverse Types
- Circulating Water Flush Type: It has a small water tank inside to store clean water for flushing, and a sewage storage tank at the bottom to collect waste. Biodegradable agents or chemicals are added to reduce odors and decompose solid waste.
- Packaging Type: It focuses on environmental protection and water conservation. After use, the excreta is automatically packaged and sealed in a biodegradable plastic bag by a mechanical device and stored in a collection bucket at the bottom.
- Dry Ecological Type: It usually uses no water or only a very small amount of water. It utilizes covering materials such as sawdust and coconut coir, combined with the principle of aerobic microbial fermentation, to convert excreta into a substance similar to humus, which can be used as a raw material for gardening compost.
II. Prominent Characteristics
- Environmental Protection Characteristics: It adopts environmental protection technologies to achieve water conservation and resource recycling. For example, the waterless flushing solution can operate without connecting to water supply and drainage pipes, while the water flushing solution requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes and also adopts technologies such as rainwater collection and filtration systems and secondary toilet flushing with hand-washing water to achieve water conservation. The products cover environmental protection technology solutions such as waterless flushing, foam sealing, and water flushing. Using waterless ecological environmental protection technology, it can operate normally within a temperature range of -20°C to 50°C, with a working voltage of 220V.
- Structural Characteristics: It is composed of a frame structure welded from steel. Generally, the bottom is welded with channel steel or I-beams, the columns are made of square steel, and wall materials including color steel plates, metal carved plates, aluminum-plastic plates, and anti-corrosion wood are installed on the basis of the walls. The frame structure can meet the requirements for hoisting, facilitating movement and installation.
- Intelligent Characteristics: Some products are equipped with intelligent systems, such as a bottom-layer PLC data acquisition system, a 40-inch LED toilet cubicle monitor, and a 4G remote monitoring module, supporting remote control of the lighting and flushing systems via a mobile phone APP.
III. Wide Application Scenarios
It is suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, public places with dense populations, and bustling commercial streets, etc. It is widely used in various temporary locations, including entertainment performances, sports events, opening ceremonies, conferences and exhibitions, and mass gatherings, as well as outdoor locations such as gardens, tourist attractions, parks, campsites, construction and decoration sites, and temporary factories. At emergency relief and temporary settlement points, when natural disasters or public emergencies occur and the water supply and drainage systems may be paralyzed, mobile toilets can quickly provide crucial sanitation guarantees for the affected people and rescue personnel.
IV. Clear Installation Specifications
The ratio of male to female squat (sit) positions should preferably be 1:1 or 3:2. The size of each fecal squat position is 1.00 - 1.20m × 0.85m - 1.20m, the size of each urinal station (including the urinal) is 0.70m (depth) × 0.65m (width), and the spacing between independent urinals is 0.80m. The width of the aisle for single-row squat positions with outward-opening doors in the toilet should preferably be 1.30m, the width of the aisle for double-row squat positions with outward-opening doors should preferably be 1.50m, and the width of the aisle for squat positions without doors should be 1.20 - 1.50m. Public toilets should have at least one hand-washing basin in both the male and female toilets, and the number can be increased as appropriate when the number of squat (sit) positions exceeds 10. Each squat position should be equipped with a sturdy and corrosion-resistant hanging hook, and there must be clear Chinese signs at the entrances and exits. The placement location of mobile toilets should be obvious, easy to find, and convenient for the discharge of feces into the urban drainage system.
