Mobile Toilet Construction

Admin October 10, 2026

There are mainly two ways to construct mobile toilets, namely, using water storage tanks and pallets for fabrication and installing pre-fabricated complete units without civil engineering work.

Fabricating a mobile toilet using water storage tanks and pallets

  • Building the basic framework: First, prepare a pallet and fix universal wheels at the four corners of its bottom to facilitate the movement of the entire toilet. Then, place the water storage tank on the pallet. The water storage tank is an important component for storing sewage and clean water in the mobile toilet.
  • Modifying the water storage tank: Cut the water storage tank to form an open-top tank. Then, stack two open-top water storage tanks together and fix them with self-tapping screws to increase the water storage capacity.
  • Creating openings and drainage settings: Cut an entrance on the modified water storage tank to allow people to enter and exit. Drill holes in the interior floor and install drainage elbows and pipes to ensure the smooth discharge of sewage.
  • Installing facilities: Place and secure the toilet bowl to ensure stability during use. At the same time, install facilities such as faucets, washbasins, and showerheads to meet people's daily washing needs.
  • Installing doors and handles: Finally, install the door and door handle to provide necessary privacy and convenience for the mobile toilet.

Installing pre-fabricated complete units without civil engineering work

This construction method is relatively simple and quick, similar to building with building blocks. Assemble and fix the pre-fabricated components, such as columns, according to the design requirements. During the assembly process, ensure that each fastener fits tightly to guarantee the structural stability and airtightness of the entire mobile toilet. This construction method does not require complex civil engineering work, greatly shortening the construction time. Moreover, it can be flexibly combined and adjusted according to different needs and site conditions, making it suitable for various fixed or temporary locations to provide toilet services for the public and customers.
