Configuration of Mobile Toilets
Admin September 22, 2026
The configuration of mobile toilets is designed around the needs of hygiene, convenience, and durability, primarily encompassing the following core modules:

1. Core Sanitary Fixtures
- Toilets: Primarily ceramic squat toilets or sit-down toilets, with high-end products using stainless steel materials, equipped with foot-operated or sensor-operated flush valves, and water tank capacities ranging from 5 to 10 liters.
- Handwashing Systems: Include ceramic or stainless steel hand basins (width 30-40 cm), push-button or sensor-operated faucets, with some equipped with water storage tanks.
- Other Accessories: Include mirrors, coat hooks, storage shelves, toilet paper holders, trash cans, with high-specification products adding child safety seats or toilet seat covers.
2. Environmental Control Systems
- Ventilation Systems: Standard with powerful exhaust fans (power 20-50 watts), exchanging air 10-15 times per hour, with some adopting dual exhaust designs.
- Lighting Systems: Use LED energy-saving lights (power 5-15 watts) internally, with some equipped with emergency lights.
- Temperature Control Systems: In cold regions, insulation materials, electric heaters, or warm air blowers are installed; in hot regions, ventilation skylights or small air conditioners are added.
3. Water Supply and Drainage, and Power Systems
- Water Supply Systems: Divided into built-in water tank types (clean water tank capacity 100-300 liters) and external water source types.
- Sewage Systems: Traditional methods use bottom sewage tanks (capacity 200-500 liters), while eco-friendly products adopt foam sealing or microbial degradation technologies.
- Power Systems: Rely on 220V mains power access, or are powered by built-in batteries (e.g., 12V/100Ah) and solar panels.
4. Structures and Accessories
- Door Locks and Indicators: Equipped with safety door locks internally, and 'Occupied/Vacant' indicator locks or LED displays externally.
- Materials and Floors: Wall panels use high-density polyethylene (HDPE), fiberglass, or colored steel plates, with floors being non-slip floors or fiberglass floor grilles.
- Accessibility Facilities: For special populations, handrails, wheelchair turning spaces, and low-level hand basins are provided.
5. Other Configurations
- Appearance and Materials: Colorful products offer a variety of color options, with frames welded from galvanized square steel and exterior walls using thermally insulated metal carved panels.
- High-End Configurations: Additions include rain-proof corridors, public hand basins, and the use of aluminum alloy toilet doors.
The production of mobile toilets must comply with national standards such as 'GB/T 26963-2011 Mobile Toilets'. The richer the configuration, the higher the price and subsequent maintenance costs.
