Cleaning of Mobile Toilets

Admin September 24, 2026

The cleaning of mobile toilets requires a combination of daily maintenance and professional procedures to ensure hygiene and the normal operation of equipment through systematic operations. This can be divided into the following three categories of methods:

I. Eight-Step Cleaning Method (Daily Basic Maintenance)

  1. Dust Removal and Debris Clearance: Use a soft-bristled brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and cobwebs from the top, walls, window screens, and lighting fixtures, avoiding dust pollution of the internal environment.
  2. Wiping and Cleaning: Wipe high-frequency contact areas such as doors, windows, handwashing basins, partition boards, window sills, walls, and switches with a neutral detergent to prevent the accumulation of stains.
  3. Toilet Brushing: For alkaline scale inside squat toilets, sit toilets, and urinals, use a special brush in combination with an acidic detergent to thoroughly brush and remove stubborn stains.
  4. Garbage Disposal: Sweep internal and external garbage daily and promptly replace plastic bags in garbage baskets to prevent the spread of odors and the growth of bacteria.
  5. Floor Treatment: Use a mop to remove standing water from the floor, paying special attention to corners and crevices, and keep the floor dry to prevent slipping hazards.
  6. Facility Inspection: Check whether faucets, sensing devices, clothes hooks, etc., are intact, ensure normal functionality, and promptly report damaged parts for repair.
  7. Disinfection Operations: Spray chlorine-containing disinfectant on high-frequency contact areas such as door and window handles and faucets at least three times a day, and turn on deodorization equipment to maintain fresh air.
  8. Tool Return: Store cleaning supplies (such as brushes, mops, disinfectants) in the tool room to avoid clutter affecting subsequent use.

II. Professional Cleaning Process (Deep Maintenance)

  1. Pretreatment: Operators wear protective clothing, masks, and gloves, and check the liquid level indicator, sewage valve connection status, and ground leakage to ensure safe operations.
  2. Emptying Waste: Use a vacuum sewage truck to extract liquid and solid residues from the sewage storage tank, inject clean water to flush residual substances from the tank walls, and prevent waste from clogging pipes.
  3. High-Pressure Washing: Use a high-pressure cleaning machine to spray the inner walls, toilets, floors, and dead corners of the toilet, and cooperate with a long-handled brush and neutral detergent to remove stubborn stains and ensure no dead zones.
  4. Deep Disinfection: Evenly cover all contact surfaces (such as toilets, partitions, floors) with chlorine-containing disinfectant, maintain contact time for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse to kill pathogens.
  5. Air Treatment: Use atomized deodorizers to neutralize odor molecules instead of masking them with fragrances to avoid chemical residues affecting the user experience.
  6. Equipment Maintenance: Check the wear of toilet seals, exhaust fans, and other components, promptly record and report any damage found, and extend the service life of the equipment.
  7. Waste Disposal: Transport waste and cleaning wastewater to designated sewage treatment facilities or septic tanks, complying with environmental protection discharge standards.

III. Daily Cleaning Points (High-Frequency Operation Specifications)

  1. Dust and Debris Clearance: Use a vacuum cleaner or wet mop to clean the floor weekly, avoiding direct contact between cleaning supplies (such as rags) and the toilet seat to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Floor Cleaning: Clean the floor daily with a detergent containing disinfectant ingredients, focusing on corners and crevices to reduce bacterial growth.
  3. Toilet Cleaning: Clean the toilet seat and internal grooves daily with a special detergent, and cooperate with a brush to remove urine scale and keep the toilet clean.
  4. Handwashing Basin Maintenance: Clean the faucet and drain hole daily to prevent the accumulation of scale and check whether the drainage is smooth.
  5. Garbage Management: Replace garbage bags daily and wear gloves and masks when cleaning to avoid direct contact with waste.
  6. Regular Maintenance: Invite a professional company for deep cleaning every quarter, including cleaning pipes and checking equipment operation status, to ensure long-term stable use.
