The functions of buttons on mobile toilets vary depending on their types, mainly divided into two categories: toilet tank buttons and buttons beside automatic flush sensors.

Toilet Tank Buttons in Mobile Restrooms

The toilet tanks in mobile restrooms are usually equipped with two buttons, a large one and a small one, designed for water conservation. The small button represents a half-flush function. When pressed, the tank releases about one-half or one-third of the water volume. This design is suitable for flushing after urination, as less waste is produced and does not require a large amount of water for flushing, effectively conserving water resources. The large button is a full-flush button. When pressed, the tank releases all the water at once. This design is suitable for flushing after defecation, as more waste is produced and requires sufficient water to thoroughly clean the toilet. Additionally, pressing both buttons simultaneously triggers a stronger flush, releasing more water. This design is very useful when a quick and thorough toilet flush is needed, such as when the toilet is clogged or there is a lot of waste.

Buttons Beside Automatic Flush Sensors

In mobile toilets equipped with automatic flush sensors, a manual flush button is usually placed beside the sensor, often labeled as 'Manual Flush' or similar. The main purpose of this button is to address potential misjudgments or malfunctions of the automatic sensor. When the sensor fails to correctly detect human movement, such as due to insufficient light, object obstruction, or sensor failure, pressing the manual flush button manually triggers the flushing mechanism to ensure the toilet is flushed in a timely manner. When multiple people use the restroom simultaneously and the sensor frequently triggers incorrectly, the manual flush button also provides more precise control, avoiding unnecessary water waste from flushing.
