Principle of Mobile Toilet Bowl

Admin September 24, 2026

The principle of a mobile toilet bowl mainly involves two parts: water injection and flushing. Its core flushing method is similar to that of an ordinary toilet, but its structure is more adapted to the needs of mobile scenarios.

Water Injection Principle

The water injection system of a mobile toilet bowl is usually divided into two parts: a hand-washing tank and a clean water tank. The hand-washing tank is generally located on the left side of the toilet bowl. Users can inject water by turning on the valve on the tank body, and some designs also support foot-pedal water discharge, which is convenient for different usage habits. The clean water tank is located on the front right side. Water is also injected by turning on the valve, and its capacity varies according to the specifications of the mobile toilet, but it must be sufficient for multiple flushes. The designs of these two tanks are independent of the sewage system to ensure clean water sources and avoid cross-contamination.

Flushing Principle

The flushing method of a mobile toilet bowl is mainly based on the siphon effect, including technologies such as siphon flushing, jet siphon, or vortex siphon. When the user presses the flush button, the water in the tank is quickly released and divided into two paths:

  1. Surface Cleaning: A portion of the water flows evenly down the inner walls of the toilet bowl, cleaning the ceramic surface and preventing stains from remaining. This design reduces the frequency of manual cleaning and is especially suitable for scenarios where mobile toilets are frequently used.
  2. Siphon Sewage Discharge: Another portion of the water is ejected at high speed through the jet nozzle at the bottom of the toilet bowl, creating a siphon effect near the sewage outlet. The suction force generated by the siphon effect quickly draws the excreta into the sewage pipe, rather than relying solely on water flow for propulsion. This design not only saves water but also effectively prevents odor from flowing back, enhancing the user experience.

Technical Advantages

The siphon technology of mobile toilet bowls achieves efficient sewage discharge by optimizing the water flow path and pressure distribution. For example, jet siphon technology enhances suction force by concentrating water flow through the bottom jet nozzle; vortex siphon technology further cleans the inner walls by forming a vortex through water rotation. These technologies enable mobile toilet bowls to maintain a cleaning effect similar to that of fixed toilets under limited space and water resource conditions.

Applicable Scenarios

Due to their water-saving, efficient, and easy-to-maintain characteristics, mobile toilet bowls are widely used in temporary events, construction sites, disaster areas, and other scenarios. Their modular design also facilitates transportation and installation, meeting sanitation needs in different environments.
