Mobile Toilet Blown Away by Wind
Admin October 10, 2026
Mobile toilets do indeed face the risk of being blown away by the wind. The following provides explanations through different event cases:

I. Multiple Incidents of Mobile Toilets Being Blown Away
- Domestic Tropical Storm Incident: A man who needed to use the restroom while on a date found himself in a mobile toilet when a tropical storm suddenly struck. The mobile toilet was lifted off the ground, trapping the man inside until he was eventually rescued by a rescue team. This indicates that under extreme weather conditions, the stability of mobile toilets is severely challenged, and strong winds are sufficient to move or even carry them away.
- Foreign Gale Incident: In a foreign location, when strong winds blew, a mobile toilet was blown into the air, with its contents falling onto the surrounding crowd. This incident not only demonstrates the reality of mobile toilets being blown away by the wind but also shows the potential adverse impacts they can have on the surrounding environment and people.
- Thailand Reservoir Incident: Near a reservoir in Phatthalung's Pak Phayun District, strong winds completely carried away a simple restroom, leaving only a toilet bowl and a stunned man behind. Fortunately, no casualties occurred in this accident. Given the structural and stability similarities between simple restrooms and mobile toilets, this incident further proves the risk of such facilities being blown away in strong wind conditions.
- Russian Strong Wind Incident: Russia has also experienced strong winds, resulting in mobile toilets running wildly across a square. This reflects that in open areas, when mobile toilets lack effective fixing measures, strong winds can easily cause them to move or even lose control.
II. Reasons for Mobile Toilets Being Blown Away by the Wind Mobile toilets are usually lightweight and have relatively simple structures. When encountering strong winds, the frictional force between their bottoms and the ground is insufficient to resist the wind force, making them prone to being moved. Moreover, the fixing methods of some mobile toilets are not secure enough, preventing them from remaining stable under extreme weather conditions and increasing the likelihood of being blown away by the wind.
