Assembly of Mobile Toilets

Admin October 11, 2026

There are various methods for assembling mobile toilets, including using water storage barrels, water storage tanks, and pallets, or adopting a general assembly approach. The specific steps are as follows:

Assembly Using Water Storage Barrels

  1. Basic Structure Construction
Use an angle grinder to split the water storage barrel in half lengthwise. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to enable mobility. Attach wooden strips to the upper side of the barrel using self-tapping screws to increase height. Cut an opening on the side of the barrel for the door. Install sponge strips on both sides of the opening to form a door frame, and insert plastic soft boards to create raised walls. Finally, place the upper half of the barrel on top of the wooden strips to serve as the roof.
  2. Indoor Fixture Installation
Drill a hole at the bottom of the barrel to install a drain pipe, forming a floor drain. Drill holes on the side and bottom to connect direct fittings. Place a plastic bucket on the roof as a small water storage device. Use a water pipe to make a bath heater, install a tee fitting below the inlet pipe, and connect a showerhead. Place the toilet on the drain pipe opening, secure the water tank, and seal it with glass glue. Connect the drain pipe to a sewage tank, extend the outlet pipe tee horizontally to the door as the inlet pipe for the sink, and drill a hole in the door to install a fitting.

Assembly Using Water Storage Tanks and Pallets

  1. Basic Structure Construction
Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a plastic pallet and place a recycled water storage tank on it. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line at the top of the tank to remove the tank top. Stack two open tank bodies and secure the outer frame with self-tapping screws. Cut a rectangular opening measuring 180 cm in height and 50 cm in width on the outer frame of the water storage tank as the door.
  2. Indoor Fixture Installation
Drill a hole in the floor inside the tank, insert an elbow from the bottom, and connect a water pipe, sealing the gaps with glue. Align the toilet with the drain opening, place it, and secure it with glue. Fix a water pipe on the wall clips and install a faucet. Connect a pipe cap below the faucet, drill a hole in the pipe cap as the outlet for the drain pipe, and secure a stainless steel basin as the sink. Connect the inlet pipe of the toilet water tank and the shower hose, install a spray-type showerhead and a toilet seat. Finally, fix hinges on the frame, connect a wooden box as the door, and install a door handle.

General Assembly Approach

Mobile toilets typically consist of components such as a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), flooring, sanitary fixtures, walls, washing equipment, a water tank, a roof, and mobility devices. During assembly, install them in sequence according to the design requirements: first, secure the flooring and mobility devices (such as universal wheels), then construct the wall and roof frames; install sanitary fixtures (such as toilets and sinks) and washing equipment (such as faucets and showerheads), and connect the water tank and drainage system; finally, test the sealing and functionality of each component to ensure there are no leaks and that mobility is smooth.
