Mobile Toilet Assembly

Admin September 21, 2026

When assembling a mobile toilet, it is essential to focus on component selection, structural adaptation, and installation specifications. The specific steps and precautions are as follows:

I. Selection and Adaptation of Core Components

  1. Squat Toilet Selection
Traditional ceramic squat toilets are fragile and prone to cracking and leaking during container transportation due to collisions. It is advisable to prioritize the use of container-specific stainless steel squat toilets. These materials are impact-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and have a smooth surface that is easy to clean, effectively reducing the risk of transportation damage.
  2. Sewage Storage and Treatment Devices
Choose sewage treatment methods based on the usage scenario:
    • Water-flush Type: Requires the configuration of a fecal sewage storage tank or a circulating water-flush system. The storage tank should have a reserved sewage discharge port, and its capacity should be designed according to the number of users (e.g., approximately 0.5 cubic meters for 50 people per day). The circulating water-flush system should integrate filtration and disinfection modules to ensure water quality standards are met.
    • Waterless Type: Adopts a dry packing device, which should be equipped with biodegradable plastic bags and a sealing structure to prevent odor leakage.
  3. Matching of Mobile Devices
Select the structure based on the transportation method:
    • Lifting/Handling Type: Reinforce the connection points between the walls and roof, using high-strength bolts for fixation to ensure overall rigidity.
    • Powered/Trailer Type: Install shock absorbers (such as spring shock absorbers) and fixing brackets to prevent component displacement caused by transportation vibrations.

II. Structural Installation Specifications

  1. Floor and Wall Construction
    • The floor should be laid with non-slip flooring (such as PVC or non-slip tiles), with a slope design of 1%-2% for drainage.
    • The walls should be constructed using lightweight materials (such as color-coated steel sheets or aluminum-plastic panels), with a thickness of not less than 50mm, and filled with sound-absorbing cotton inside to reduce noise.
  2. Fixing of Sanitary Fixtures
    • When installing the squat toilet, use waterproof sealant to fill the gaps and add a stainless steel fixing bracket to prevent loosening.
    • For washing facilities (such as washbasins), reserve a slope for the drainage pipe (≥3%) to avoid water accumulation.
  3. Roof and Ventilation Design
    • The roof should be constructed using waterproof rolls or metal sheets, with a slope of ≥5% to prevent water accumulation.
    • Install a forced exhaust device (such as an axial fan), with an air exchange rate of 6-8 times per hour to ensure air circulation.

III. Acceptance and Maintenance Points

  1. Sealing Test: Inject water to check for leaks at the squat toilet and sewage pipe interfaces. A water level drop of no more than 2mm within 24 hours is considered qualified.
  2. Stability Test: Simulate transportation vibrations (e.g., using a vibration table) to check for loosening or displacement of components.
  3. Regular Maintenance: Clean the sewage tank every 3 months, check the wear of shock absorbers, and replace aging seals.
