Mobile Toilet and Sanitation Equipment

Admin October 10, 2026

A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It has characteristics such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation, and is widely used in various settings.

Composition of Mobile Toilets

Generally, they consist of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to achieve the basic functions of mobile toilets.

Classification of Mobile Toilets

  • By structural form: They are divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure toilets are more complex and may have more functions or better stability.
  • By mobility method: There are lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, and powered and towed-type mobile toilets. Lifting and handling-type toilets are suitable for short-distance and small-scale movements; powered and towed-type toilets can achieve long-distance and large-scale movements with the help of vehicle power sources.
  • By sewage treatment method: They include water-flush and waterless-flush suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush toilets have better cleaning effects but require connection to water supply and drainage pipes; waterless-flush suction-type and dry-packing toilets do not require connection to water supply and drainage pipes and are more suitable for temporary and waterless locations; circulating water-flush toilets can achieve water resource recycling and are more environmentally friendly and water-saving.

Materials of Mobile Toilets

Initially made of wood, they have since evolved to use materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene. The main frames of environmentally friendly mobile toilets are mostly steel structures, and the exterior wall materials often include color-coated steel plates, metal carved plates, aluminum-plastic plates, and anti-corrosion wood. These materials are durable, aesthetically pleasing, and corrosion-resistant.

Application Scenarios of Mobile Toilets

They are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. Environmentally friendly mobile toilets are also widely used in temporary locations such as entertainment performances, sports events, opening ceremonies, and trade shows, as well as outdoor locations such as gardens, tourist attractions, parks, and campsites.
