Mobile Toilet Aids

Admin September 20, 2026

Mobile toilet aids mainly include commode chairs, portable toilet stools, mobile toilet seats, and related assistive grab bar products, which can meet the needs of different scenarios and users.

Commode chairs are toilet assistive devices specifically designed for individuals with mobility issues and the elderly. Their core function is to provide stable support and reduce the difficulty of using the toilet. Based on usage scenarios and structural differences, commode chairs can be divided into three categories:

  1. Commode chairs with removable pans: These chairs have built-in removable pans, suitable for users who cannot go to the bathroom independently. They can be placed directly beside the bed for easy care and cleaning.
  2. Folding commode chairs: These chairs use lightweight materials (such as aluminum alloy) and a folding structure, making them easy to store and carry. They are suitable for short-term use or environments with limited space (such as travel and temporary care).
  3. Mobile wheeled commode chairs: Equipped with universal wheels at the bottom, users can move to the bathroom or designated location using the principle of a wheelchair, reducing physical exertion during transfers. They are suitable for patients in rehabilitation or scenarios requiring frequent movement.

Portable toilet stools are portable assistive devices usually placed directly above a squat toilet to convert a squatting posture into a sitting posture. Their design features include:

  • Removability: They can be quickly moved away after use, not occupying fixed space in the bathroom, suitable for squat toilet renovations in homes or public places.
  • Universality: By adjusting the height or adding non-slip pads, they can be adapted to squat toilets of different sizes, meeting the needs of groups such as children, pregnant women, and the elderly.
  • Lightweight: Mostly made of plastic or stainless steel, they are relatively light in weight, facilitating handling and cleaning.

Other assistive products include mobile toilet seats and grab bars:

  • Mobile toilet seats: Similar to small toilets, they are equipped with independent water tanks and sewage discharge interfaces. They can be used independently or connected to sewage pipes, suitable for scenarios without fixed bathrooms (such as construction sites and temporary event venues).
  • Grab bars: Usually installed on bathroom walls or beside toilets, they provide gripping support to assist users in getting up or maintaining balance. They are mostly made of stainless steel or non-slip plastic, and prices vary greatly depending on specifications and brands.

Price range: Portable toilet stools and basic commode chairs have relatively low prices (ranging from tens to a hundred yuan), while commode chairs with wheels, folding features, or smart functions are more expensive (several hundred yuan). Mobile toilet seats and grab bars have large price fluctuations (ranging from a hundred to a thousand yuan or more) due to differences in materials and functions. Users can choose appropriate products according to their actual needs (such as usage frequency, space conditions, and budget).
