Mobile Toilet Accessory Installation
Admin September 29, 2026
The installation of mobile toilet accessories should follow standardized procedures to ensure that functionality and safety standards are met. The specific operations are as follows:

I. Installation of Basic Structural Accessories
Door and Window Installation
- Door: The door frame should be installed first, ensuring a secure connection to the wall using expansion bolts or specialized fasteners. After installing the door hinges, repeated opening and closing tests should be conducted to ensure there is no jamming or abnormal noise, and the door lock should function properly for smooth locking and unlocking.
- Window: When installing the window frame, check for airtightness to prevent air leakage or water infiltration. If the window is openable, adjust the hinges or sliding tracks to ensure flexible opening and closing, and the ability to fix the window at any opening angle to prevent accidental closure.
Vent Installation
- Vents are typically located on the top or side walls. Holes should be made according to the design position, and rain covers or louvers should be installed. After installation, test the ventilation effect to ensure air circulation without odor backflow, and check that the insect screen is intact to prevent mosquitoes and other insects from entering.
II. Installation of Safety and Auxiliary Facilities
Handrail Fixation
- Handrails should be installed at key positions such as beside the door and next to the toilet, using stainless steel or high-strength plastic materials. During installation, ensure a secure connection between the handrail and the wall using chemical anchors or expansion screws, with a load-bearing capacity that meets standards (usually ≥150kg). After installation, test for stability to prevent wobbling.
Barrier-Free Facility Installation
- Ramp: If a ramp is required for the mobile toilet, ensure that the slope is ≤1:12 (i.e., for every 12 units of horizontal distance, there is a 1-unit rise in height). The ramp surface should be slip-resistant, and continuous handrails should be installed on both sides, with a height of ≥90cm and a spacing of ≤10cm to prevent children or wheelchair users from slipping off.
- Handrail: Internal handrails should be installed beside the toilet and next to the sink, with a height of ≥85cm to ensure comfortable and safe gripping for users.
III. Functionality and Detail Adjustment
Accessory Fixation Inspection
- All accessories (such as hooks, tissue boxes, and shelves) should be fixed with screws or specialized adhesive, avoiding the use of easily detachable tape or double-sided adhesive. After installation, test the load-bearing capacity to ensure that commonly used items (such as tissues and mobile phones) can be placed stably.
Safety Standard Verification
- After installation, verify compliance with standards such as the "Barrier-Free Design Code" (GB 50763-2012) by checking the spacing and height of handrails and railings, the smoothness of door and window operation, and the effectiveness of vents to ensure there are no safety hazards.
Tip: During installation, wear protective equipment (such as gloves and goggles) to avoid cuts or falls. If electrical accessories (such as lighting or exhaust fans) are involved, they should be operated by a professional electrician to ensure proper grounding and compliance with electrical safety standards.
