Mobile Toilet Acceptance Criteria
Admin September 21, 2026
The acceptance criteria for mobile toilets cover six main aspects: acceptance main lines, material structures, sewage discharge systems, supporting facilities, testing methods, and relevant certifications. Details are as follows:

I. Acceptance Main Lines and Key Nodes
Acceptance should focus on six types of actions: 'entry, use, cleaning, replenishment, maintenance, and relocation', covering functional tests throughout the entire lifecycle of mobile toilets to ensure smooth operation and no safety hazards in all aspects.
II. Material and Structure Standards
- Frame Structure: The main frame should be made of hot-dip galvanized steel pipes or steel structures, featuring high strength, corrosion resistance, and wind pressure resistance. The quality of welds should comply with the national standard GB/T 14952.1-2017, with a penetration depth of more than 70% of the base material thickness and surface depressions or protrusions not exceeding 0.5mm.
- Wall Materials: Exterior walls commonly use metal carved panels or color-steel composite panels, while interior walls often use stone plastic panels or aluminum-plastic panels, filled with rock wool and other flame-retardant insulation materials.
- Floor Treatment: Waterproof and anti-slip treatments are required, with materials such as anti-slip patterned aluminum plates or reinforced composite flooring to ensure no water seepage or ponding.
III. Sewage Discharge System Standards
- Water-flush Direct Discharge Type: It should be connected to municipal sewage pipes, with a stable and water-saving flushing system.
- Waterless Packaging Type/Microbial Degradation Type: The sealing performance should meet standards, with no odor leakage and degradation efficiency complying with environmental protection requirements.
- Recirculating Water Flushing Type: The purification effect of biological treatment technology should meet standards, and the recirculating system should operate stably.
IV. Supporting Facilities and Functional Standards
- Internal Configuration: It must include basic equipment such as exhaust fans, lighting fixtures, sinks, mirrors, shelves, paper towel holders, and hooks.
- Ventilation and Deodorization: High-power exhaust fans or active fresh air systems should be configured to prevent odor accumulation.
- Electrical Safety: All electrical circuits should have moisture-proof, waterproof, and grounding protection functions.
V. Testing Standards and Methods
- Appearance and Decorative Quality: The dimensional error should be ≤5mm, the decorative layer should be flat without depressions, the joint sealing should be leak-proof, and the floor should be flat and sealed.
- Wind Resistance Performance: The overall wind resistance should be ≥ Grade 10, earthquake resistance should be ≥ Grade 8, and the service life should be ≥ 10 years.
- Sealing and Waterproof Testing: Spray with a water gun at a pressure of 0.1MPa for 15 minutes and check for no leakage after 1 hour.
- Tank Sealing Performance: The storage tank should show no leakage after being left stationary for 1 hour, the toilet fixture blocking action time should be ≤3 seconds, and the cleaning port cover should open and close flexibly with good sealing.
VI. Relevant Certifications and Implementation Standards
Production should refer to national standards such as 'GB/T 18092-2000 Waterless Flush Toilets' and 'CJ/T 378-2011 Portable Toilets'.
