Mobile Toilet 50cm
Admin October 09, 2026
Relocating a toilet by 50cm does pose a risk of blockage, but this can be effectively mitigated through scientific construction and reasonable design.

I. Core Renovation Solutions
If a relocation of 50cm is required, using an ordinary toilet offset flange alone may not suffice; structural modifications to the sewer pipe are necessary. Two fundamental solutions are recommended:
- Wall-mounted toilet: By embedding the drainage pipe within the wall and connecting it directly to the riser, ground relocation is unnecessary, eliminating slope issues at the source.
- Sunken same-floor drainage system: The drainage pipe is buried in a sunken space (e.g., a lowered floor slab by 30-40cm), allowing relocation by adjusting the pipe's direction while maintaining the drainage slope.
II. Construction Points for Ordinary Toilet Offset Flanges
If an ordinary toilet offset flange is chosen, the following specifications must be strictly adhered to:
- Slope control: A descending slope of 2-4cm per meter of pipe (i.e., a 1-2cm drop for a 50cm relocation) must be set to ensure water flow is driven by gravity.
- Pipe diameter: Prioritize using a pipe with a diameter of 110mm, which has superior drainage capacity compared to 75mm or 90mm pipes, reducing the risk of blockage.
- Bend handling: The radius of pipe bends must not be less than 5 times the pipe's diameter (e.g., a bend radius of ≥55cm for an 110mm pipe) to prevent sharp bends from obstructing water flow.
- Drainage testing: After construction, multiple drainage tests must be conducted, using a large volume of water (e.g., 5-10 liters) to simulate daily use and observe the drainage speed and whether there is any water accumulation.
III. Maintenance Recommendations After Relocation
- Selection of sanitary products: Avoid using toilet paper or feminine hygiene products that are difficult to dissolve; prioritize products labeled as "soluble".
- Regular maintenance: Use a pipe maintenance agent (e.g., one containing enzymes) once a month to decompose grease and grime in the pipe, keeping it smooth.
- Power enhancement: If blockages occur frequently, a dedicated sewage pump (e.g., a cutting-type sewage lift pump) can be installed to assist drainage with mechanical power.
Key reminder: Relocation construction must be carried out by professionals to ensure parameters such as slope and bend radius comply with specifications. If space permits, prioritize wall-mounted toilets or sunken drainage systems to eliminate blockage risks at the design level.
