Mobile Toilet
Mobile toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole and provide toilet services to the public. They are suitable for a variety of locations and come in multiple types with distinct features.

Suitable Locations: Mobile toilets are ideal for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These locations often have temporary or periodic needs for toilets, or face difficulties in constructing permanent public toilets. Mobile toilets effectively address the shortages and unreasonable layouts of public toilets. For example, in 2023, the Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Area successively installed and put into use mobile toilets.
Composition and Structure: They generally consist of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Initially made from materials like wood, they had simple structures and functions and were prone to absorbing odors. Later, they gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene.
Type Classification: According to structural form, they can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Based on mobility, they can be categorized as hoisting and handling mobile toilets, powered and towed mobile toilets. In terms of sewage treatment methods, they include water-flush and waterless suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets.
Features and Advantages: They can be easily transported to any location where toilets are needed and can be used repeatedly. They offer the advantages of mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation.
Design Principles: The design should adhere to the principles of mobility and convenience, economic durability, environmental protection and ecological benefits, and enhancing efficiency and promoting humanity. The overall structure should be lightweight, using lightweight and durable materials as much as possible, while ensuring structural robustness. The design should also consider controlling the height and width of the toilet, and the mobile device should be fully considered for completeness and rationality.
Innovative Forms: In addition to common mobile toilets, some people have created movable toilets using several buckets, although the production process is relatively complex. Some companies have also developed foldable toilets, which, when collapsed, are only 90 centimeters tall and can be easily transported by pickup trucks or box trucks, making them suitable for various event sites, construction sites, and remote areas.
