Mobile Tent Toilet Installation
Admin September 21, 2026
The installation of mobile tent toilets requires selecting an appropriate plan based on the scenario, with core steps including equipment selection, site selection planning, structural construction, and functional debugging. The specific key points are as follows:

I. Scenario Adaptation and Equipment Selection
- Self-driving travel scenario: Prioritize selecting car-side tent-modified toilets that can be connected to the vehicle. Determine the fabric length according to the vehicle height (e.g., 7-meter fabric for a 1.6-meter tent). Connect the tent to the vehicle body using fixing devices (such as hooks and straps) to ensure stability. Such equipment needs to be waterproof and windproof, and have a reserved sewage discharge interface inside or be equipped with a portable toilet.
- Large-scale event/engineering scenario: Modular mobile toilets need to be rented, and a professional team provided by the supplier will complete the installation. The equipment should include basic functions such as a flushing system, electrical circuits, and door locks, and comply with barrier-free design standards (such as the newly added barrier-free toilets in the 2025 upgrade case in the Tiananmen area).
- Portable scenario: When selecting a folding changing tent, confirm whether it is equipped with a breathable skylight, internal hanging ropes, and storage bags. For some products, check whether the sunscreen coating is intact to adapt to the outdoor environment.
II. Site Selection and Basic Conditions
- Terrain requirements: Avoid low-lying waterlogged areas (to prevent rainwater backflow) and areas where flammable and explosive materials are stored (to reduce safety risks), while also taking into account concealment and convenience. For example, toilets in scenic spots can be scattered along the footpaths, and toilets on construction sites need to be concentrated near the living areas.
- Water and electricity access: For rented equipment, confirm the on-site water and electricity conditions in advance. The flushing system needs to be connected to municipal water supply or a water storage tank, and the electrical circuit needs to meet the power requirements of lighting, ventilation, and other equipment to avoid functional abnormalities due to insufficient power supply.
III. Structural Construction and Functional Debugging
- Fixing and wind protection: In extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, strong winds), the equipment needs to be reinforced. Car-side tents can be fixed with ground stakes, modular toilets need to have the lifting structure stability checked, and portable tents need to have the top straps tightened.
- Privacy protection: Check the door locks and partition sealing to ensure there are no light-transmitting gaps. For large-scale event toilets, refer to the Tiananmen upgrade case and use thickened partitions or acoustic materials to reduce noise interference.
- Functional testing: After installation, test key functions such as the flushing system (water pressure, drainage speed), electrical circuit (lighting, ventilation), and sewage discharge interface (sealing) to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
General precautions: When renting equipment, sign a contract to clarify maintenance responsibilities and regularly clean the sewage tanks. For self-driving travel scenarios, prepare spare waterproof cloth to deal with sudden weather changes. For portable products, avoid sharp objects from scratching the fabric.
