Mobile Storage Rack for Bathroom
Admin September 20, 2026
In bathroom settings, a mobile storage rack mainly refers to a movable storage device used for organizing bathroom supplies, which is different from the concept of a 'mobile toilet' (a complete movable toilet facility).

I. Common Types and Features of Mobile Storage Racks
Movable Narrow-Gap Bathroom Storage Cabinet
- Design Features: Specifically designed for narrow spaces, with a width typically ranging from 15 to 30 centimeters. It can fit snugly into gaps between the toilet and the wall, or between the sink and the wall. Some models feature a tiered drawer structure (with up to 6 or 7 layers in a full-drawer model that is 110 centimeters tall), with the bottom layer designed as a door for storing larger items (such as cleaning agents and spare toilet paper).
- Functional Advantages: Maximizes space utilization through vertical storage. The drawer design allows for categorized storage of toiletries, cosmetics, and hygiene products, preventing clutter. The bottom is equipped with wheels or a detachable structure for easy movement and cleaning.
Bathroom Corner Storage Rack
- Design Features: A floor-standing structure, usually triangular or polygonal, designed to fit corner spaces. Made mostly of stainless steel or plastic, with adjustable layers (typically 3 to 5 layers). Some models come with detachable trays or hooks.
- Functional Advantages: Its mobility allows for position adjustments as needed (e.g., from the shower area to beside the toilet). The multi-layer design can store towels, shower gel, shampoo, etc. Some models have wheels at the bottom for easy movement and cleaning.
Storage Rack Above the Toilet
- Design Features: Either wall-mounted or floor-standing, placed directly above the toilet tank to utilize vertical space. Made mostly of metal or plastic, with typically 2 to 3 layers, some featuring drawers or open shelves.
- Functional Advantages: Can store frequently used items such as toilet paper, air fresheners, and cleaning agents, avoiding the occupation of floor space. The open design allows for quick access, and some models have a moisture-proof coating suitable for humid environments.
II. Difference from 'Mobile Toilet'
A 'mobile toilet' refers to a complete movable toilet facility (such as a portable cabin-style toilet), including a fecal storage tank, sanitary fixtures, walls, and other structures, used for public services in temporary or fixed locations. In contrast, a 'mobile storage rack' only refers to storage equipment within the bathroom, with functions limited to item storage and not usable as a toilet facility.
III. Purchase Recommendations
- Material: Prioritize waterproof and moisture-proof materials (such as stainless steel and plastic) to avoid mold growth on wooden materials.
- Size: Choose according to the bathroom space. Measure the gap width for narrow-gap storage cabinets and confirm the corner angle for corner storage racks.
- Mobility: If frequent position adjustments are needed, choose models with wheels or lightweight designs.
