Mobile Side Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It is composed of components such as fecal sewage storage tanks, sanitary ware, and walls. It has the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport, making it suitable for various places.

Composition Structure

A mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to provide users with a complete toilet environment. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and treat excrement, while the sanitary ware includes toilets or squat pans for people's convenience.

Classification Methods

  • By structural form: Mobile toilets can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single structure is relatively simple and independent, while the composite structure may be composed of multiple single units or have a more complex internal structure.
  • By moving method: They can be classified into lifting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling types mainly rely on external equipment for movement; powered and towed types have their own power or can be moved by vehicle towing.
  • By sewage treatment method: There are water-flushing and waterless suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flushing types are similar to traditional toilets, using water to flush excrement; waterless suction types use suction equipment to treat feces; circulating water-flushing types recycle the flushing water; and dry-packing types pack the excrement for disposal.

Features and Advantages

Mobile toilets can be easily transported to any place where toilets need to be installed and can be used repeatedly. Their movable, combinable, and easy-to-transport features enable them to quickly respond to toilet needs in different places, especially showing significant advantages in temporary events or venue changes.

Applicable Places

They are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These places have a large flow of people or temporary needs, and mobile toilets can effectively solve toilet problems.

Design Principles

The design should follow the principles of being mobile and convenient, economical and durable; environmentally friendly and beneficial to the environment; improving efficiency and promoting humanity. The overall structure should be lightweight, using lightweight and durable materials, with a sturdy structure, controlled height and width, and complete and reasonable mobile devices.
