Mobile Shower and Toilet Facility

Admin October 05, 2026

A mobile shower and toilet facility is a movable installation that can be set up in fixed or temporary locations to provide toilet and shower services to the public and customers. The following is an introduction from the aspects of composition, classification, characteristics, and applicable places:

Composition: A mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device. Taking the Laobing Convenience Shower Room as an example, it is internally equipped with a Midea water heater, a bathroom heater, a top basin, a showerhead, a clothes and hat hook, a storage shelf, a washbasin, a beauty mirror, an exhaust fan, and a freeze-proof toilet. It is well-insulated and rainproof as a whole.

Classification:

  • By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively independent and simple, while the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and may have more diverse functions.
  • By moving method: It can be divided into lifting and handling-type mobile toilets and powered and trailer-type mobile toilets. Lifting and handling-type mobile toilets may require lifting equipment for movement; powered and trailer-type mobile toilets have their own power or can be moved by being towed by a vehicle.
  • By sewage treatment method: It can be divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. The water-flushing type is similar to traditional toilets, using water for flushing; the non-water-flushing suction type treats feces through suction; the circulating water-flushing type recycles the flushing water; and the dry-packing type dry-packs the feces for treatment.

Characteristics: It has the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. It can be flexibly arranged and adjusted according to the needs of different places. When not needed, it can be easily moved away without causing permanent changes to the site.

Applicable places: It is suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These places have a large flow of people, and the demand for sanitary facilities is temporary or periodic. Mobile shower and toilet facilities can well meet their needs.
