Mobile Sanitary Toilet
A mobile sanitary toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It has the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport, making it suitable for various locations.

Composition and Materials
A mobile sanitary toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. Initially, it was made of materials such as wood, with a simple structure and function, and was prone to absorbing odors. Later, it gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene.
Classification Methods
- By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets.
- By mobility method: It is classified into hoisting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets.
- By sewage treatment method: It is divided into water-flush and waterless-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets.
Mobile Environmental Protection Public Toilet
It is a type of mobile sanitary toilet designed based on new materials and water-saving technology. The frame is welded from national standard steel, and the surface is covered with anti-corrosion and fire-resistant materials such as color-coated steel plates or carved panels, with a service life of more than 20 years. Internally, it is equipped with an independent toilet pit zoning treatment system. The urine channel uses gravity self-flow, and the feces channel is cleaned by a piston-type scraper mechanical device. It is also equipped with a non-slip floor, an automatic flushing toilet bowl, and a ventilation and lighting system, complying with the GBLT18091-92 standard.
Suitable Locations
It is suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. For example, in 2023, mobile toilets were gradually installed and put into use in the Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Area. There are also grid-style mobile toilets with independent single rooms, equipped with partitions and rain-proof corridors, which are unisex and have a higher usage frequency. They can be used as both toilets and showers.
Design Principles
Its design should follow the principles of being mobile and convenient, economical and durable; environmentally friendly and beneficial to the environment; improving efficiency and promoting humanity.
