Mobile Restroom Outdoor Toilet

Admin October 19, 2026

A mobile restroom outdoor toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides public restroom services. It is suitable for various places and has multiple types and structural features.

I. Basic Components
A mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, a water tank, a roof, a mobile device, etc. These components work together to ensure the realization of the toilet's basic functions, such as fecal storage, clean water supply, structural support, and mobility. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and temporarily store excreta, preventing direct discharge from causing environmental pollution; the water tank provides water for the flushing system to ensure the normal use of sanitary ware.

II. Type Classification

  1. By structural form: It is divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single structure is relatively simple and highly independent; the composite structure may be composed of multiple parts, with more complex functions or a larger capacity.
  2. By mobility method: It includes lifting and handling-type mobile toilets and powered and towed-type mobile toilets. Lifting and handling-type ones rely on external equipment (such as cranes and forklifts) for position adjustment; powered and towed-type ones can be moved by their own power or vehicle traction, offering higher flexibility.
  3. By sewage treatment method: It is divided into water-flushing and waterless-flushing suction-type, circulating water-flushing type, and dry-packing type. The water-flushing type flushes excreta with water flow, offering high cleanliness but requiring a water source; the waterless-flushing suction-type uses negative pressure to suck feces, saving water but requiring regular cleaning of the storage tank; the circulating water-flushing type filters and purifies sewage for reuse, suitable for water-scarce areas; the dry-packing type packs feces with biodegradable materials, requiring no water flushing, being environmentally friendly and easy to handle.

III. Application Scenarios
Due to its mobility, combinability, and convenient transportation, mobile toilets are widely used in stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. For example, tourist attractions can alleviate restroom pressure by adding mobile toilets during holidays when there is a large tourist flow; large construction sites can flexibly adjust the position of toilets according to the construction progress to meet the needs of workers.
