Mobile Restroom Indoor Application

Admin October 11, 2026

Mobile restrooms have various types and characteristics for indoor applications, which are introduced below from aspects such as composition, classification, brand, and material:

Mobile restrooms are generally composed of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is one of the core components, used to collect and treat fecal sewage to ensure a hygienic environment. The floor should have anti-slip and easy-to-clean properties to ensure the safety and convenience of users. Sanitary fixtures such as toilets and squat pans should conform to ergonomic design to provide a comfortable user experience. The walls serve to divide the space and protect privacy while also having certain sound insulation and heat insulation properties. Washroom equipment, including washbasins and faucets, makes it convenient for users to clean their hands. The water tank is used to store clean water to ensure the normal operation of functions such as flushing. The roof should be able to resist rain and sun to protect the internal facilities. The mobile device allows the restroom to be moved and rearranged as needed.

In terms of structural form, they can be divided into single-structure mobile restrooms and composite-structure mobile restrooms. Single-structure mobile restrooms are relatively independent, with simple installation and use, suitable for indoor venues with limited space or high flexibility requirements. Composite-structure mobile restrooms are composed of multiple single units, with richer functions that can meet the usage needs of more people.

According to the method of movement, there are lifting and handling-type mobile restrooms. This type is usually small in size and light in weight, facilitating manual handling or movement using lifting equipment. Powered and towed-type mobile restrooms are equipped with power devices or towing devices and can be towed by vehicles for movement, suitable for scenarios that require frequent movement or long-distance movement.

Based on the sewage treatment method, they can be classified as water-flush and non-water-flush suction-type mobile restrooms, circulating water-flush mobile restrooms, and dry-packing mobile restrooms. Water-flush and non-water-flush suction-type mobile restrooms treat fecal sewage through water flushing or suction. Circulating water-flush mobile restrooms purify and recycle the used water to save water resources. Dry-packing mobile restrooms pack the feces in biodegradable packaging bags without using water, which is more environmentally friendly.

There are many brands of indoor mobile restroom-related products, such as Baitai, Mengyang, and Shiteng. The types include mobile restrooms, container restrooms, and eco-friendly restrooms. The materials include steel structures, color-coated steel, metal, and plastic. They are mostly used as outdoor restrooms and eco-friendly restrooms and can also be selected and applied according to the characteristics and needs of the indoor environment.
