Mobile Restroom Dimensions
The dimensions of mobile restrooms vary depending on the type, with common standard dimensions as follows:

Single-unit mobile restrooms are typically used in construction sites, small events, and other scenarios. Their length generally ranges from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, with some sources suggesting 1.1 to 1.5 meters; the width ranges from 1.0 to 1.2 meters, with some suggesting 1 to 1.2 meters; and the height ranges from 2.2 to 2.5 meters, with some starting at 2.2 meters. This size design meets the basic needs of single-person use while considering space utilization and mobility convenience.
Double-unit mobile restrooms are suitable for large events, tourist attractions, and other scenarios that require simultaneous accommodation of multiple people. Their length typically ranges from 2.4 to 3.0 meters, the width from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, and the height from 2.2 to 2.5 meters. The double-unit design increases length and width, providing two independent toilet compartments, effectively improving usage efficiency, especially suitable for venues with high foot traffic.
Multi-functional mobile restrooms are designed for high-end events, long-term fixed locations, and other needs, featuring larger sizes and more comprehensive functions. The length generally ranges from 3.0 to 4.5 meters, the width from 2.0 to 2.5 meters, and the height from 2.5 to 3.0 meters. This size not only provides multiple toilet compartments but may also include sinks, storage spaces, and even barrier-free facilities to meet diverse usage needs.
Design considerations should also include ergonomics and regulatory requirements: The width of toilet compartments should be no less than 0.9 meters to ensure sufficient space for users; the recommended height for sinks is 0.8 to 0.9 meters, aligning with the natural standing posture for operation. Additionally, mobile restrooms must comply with the relevant provisions of the "Urban Public Toilet Design Standard" (CJJ 14-2016). Some regions may also impose additional requirements on dimensions and environmental performance, such as stricter emission standards or material environmental friendliness. These regulations and requirements ensure the safety, comfort, and environmental friendliness of mobile restrooms.
