Mobile Public Toilet - Waterless
The waterless type of mobile public toilet is an environmentally friendly toilet that can treat waste without traditional water flushing, featuring water conservation, environmental protection, and wide applicability.

Core Technical Principles of Waterless Toilets
Waterless toilets replace the water flushing function with physical, biological, or chemical technologies to achieve waste reduction and harmless treatment. For example, waterless toilets are equipped with composite microbial communities that can operate stably at 40°C, degrading excreta through biological processes; waterless urinals use sealing fluids, mechanical valves, live bacteria decomposition, and nano-coating technologies to prevent odors and self-clean after urine discharge.
Common Types and Technical Characteristics
- Mechanical Packaging Type: Uses specially made biodegradable plastic bags to wrap the squatting position, automatically tightening and sealing the waste with a mechanical device to form an independent waste bag that falls into a storage tank, which is then regularly collected and transported by specialized personnel.
- Microbial Degradation Type: A degradation chamber filled with microbial carriers is set below the squatting position. Microorganisms decompose organic matter through aerobic fermentation, and the high temperatures generated during decomposition can kill pathogens.
- Foam Sealing Type: An air pump mixes air with foaming liquid to form a dense foam layer on the surface of the squatting pan, allowing excreta to slide into the pipe below. Each foaming event consumes only about 0.1 liters of liquid.
- Vacuum Suction Type: Utilizes a vacuum pump to create a negative pressure environment in the pipe, instantly sucking waste into the main pipe for transport to the treatment tank.
- Chemical Agent Type: Chemical agents are added to the storage tank to decompose excreta through chemical reactions, inhibiting odors and bacterial growth.
Advantages and Application Scenarios
Waterless toilets achieve a water-saving rate of over 90%, with advantages such as zero pollution, zero odor, simple maintenance, and easy installation. They also enable resource recycling (e.g., composting). Their application scenarios are extensive, including arid regions, water-scarce rural areas, ecological reserves, natural scenic spots, urban parks, temporary venues (such as construction sites, exhibitions, campsites), rural revitalization projects, organic farms, and horticultural demonstration areas. Additionally, this technology can operate normally in harsh climatic environments without water supply, drainage, or even electricity (such as low-temperature, high-altitude areas), demonstrating strong environmental adaptability.
