Mobile Public Toilet Vehicle in Kunming

Admin October 10, 2026

The newly added mobile public toilet vehicle in Kunming Dianchi National Tourism Resort, introduced by Yunnan Jinghuan Haijie Company, was officially put into use on November 1st, effectively alleviating the pressure on toilet demand during the gull-watching season.

Facility Configuration and Functional Upgrades

This mobile public toilet vehicle has undergone comprehensive upgrades to address the shortcomings of traditional mobile public toilets. It features independent stalls equipped with hand-washing basins, ventilation systems, air conditioners, and fresh air systems. Each stall can automatically exhaust air to reduce odors and includes a dedicated stall for the disabled and emergency buttons, catering to both hygiene and humanized needs. In terms of capacity design, the vehicle has abandoned the old model of shared stalls for men and women. The women's toilets have been increased to five stalls, while the men's toilets are equipped with three stalls and three urinals, allowing it to accommodate approximately 11 people simultaneously and efficiently meet the toilet demand during peak periods such as the gull-watching season.

Environmental Protection and Convenience Advantages

The vehicle boasts three core advantages: environmental protection and water conservation, mobility, and rapid response. When its sewage tank and fresh water tank are full, an environmentally friendly and convenient suction vehicle can extract the waste on-site and transport it to a professional disposal site, avoiding the limitations of traditional public toilets that require fixed sewage pipes. Additionally, the vehicle can be deployed to areas of high demand on an as-needed basis, providing much greater mobility compared to fixed public toilets, making it particularly suitable for peak tourist seasons or temporary event scenarios.

Parking Scheduling and Supporting Measures

In terms of parking scheduling, the vehicle is prioritized for deployment in areas with high foot traffic, such as the parking lot of Haigeng Conference Hall, and professional signs are set up to guide tourists. To further reduce waiting times, two fixed public toilets and three sets of mobile public toilets have been installed along Haigeng Dam, creating a complementary model of 'fixed + mobile'. This layout not only ensures basic service coverage but also dynamically adjusts passenger flow pressure through the flexibility of mobile public toilets, significantly enhancing the tourist experience.

Practical Application Effects

Since its introduction, the mobile public toilet vehicle has become an important infrastructure during the gull-watching season in Kunming Dianchi National Tourism Resort. Its efficient service capabilities, environmentally friendly disposal methods, and humanized design have not only alleviated the problem of difficult toilet access but also provided a referenceable mobile public toilet solution for other tourist attractions.
