Mobile Public Toilet

Admin September 23, 2026

A mobile public toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It is suitable for various places and comes in multiple types with distinct features.

Suitable Locations

Mobile public toilets are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These locations often have a high volume of foot traffic, with a concentrated and possibly temporary demand for toilet facilities. Mobile toilets can flexibly meet these needs. For example, at large construction sites, as the project progresses, the positions of personnel may change, and mobile toilets can be adjusted accordingly. At tourist attractions, during holidays when the number of tourists increases, mobile toilets can quickly add toilet facilities to alleviate the pressure on tourists' toilet use.

Composition Structure

Generally, they consist of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to provide a complete toilet environment for users. The fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and store fecal sewage. Sanitary ware includes toilets or squat pans, facilitating user convenience. The mobile device ensures that the toilet can be moved as a whole.

Type Classification

  • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure toilets may have more complex layouts and functions.
  • By mobility method: They are classified into lifting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling mobile toilets are suitable for short-distance movement, while powered and towed mobile toilets can be moved over long distances by vehicle traction.
  • By sewage treatment method: They are categorized into water-flush and waterless suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush toilets offer better cleaning effects but require a water source. Waterless suction and dry-packing toilets do not require a large amount of water and are more suitable for water-scarce areas or temporary use scenarios.

Features and Advantages

They can be conveniently transported to any location where toilets need to be installed and can be used repeatedly. They have the advantages of mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation. Their design adheres to the principles of mobility and convenience, economic durability, environmental protection and ecology, efficiency improvement, and humanitarian promotion. The overall structure considers lightness and durability, controlling height and width, with complete and reasonable mobile devices.
