Inside Mobile Public Toilets

Admin October 08, 2026

The facilities of mobile public toilets are rich and diverse, covering basic functional facilities and upgraded configuration facilities.

Basic Functional Facilities:
Mobile public toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Among them, the fecal sewage storage tank or treatment device is used to collect and treat excreta, preventing direct discharge from polluting the environment; the floor slab adopts an anti-slip design to ensure the safety of users; sanitary ware includes toilet bowls (urinals) to meet basic excretion needs; walls serve to divide spaces and protect privacy; washing equipment such as washbasins and water-saving faucets facilitate users in cleaning their hands; water tanks provide water for the flushing system; the roof protects against wind and rain; and the mobile device allows the toilet to be repositioned as needed.

Ventilation and Zoning Facilities:
Some mobile public toilets are equipped with waterproofing and exhaust fans internally, effectively improving indoor air quality and reducing odors. Additionally, they feature multiple stalls with separate designs for men and women, enhancing usage efficiency and convenience. Some upgraded mobile public toilets also include a third restroom, providing more considerate services for special groups such as the disabled and the elderly.

Upgraded Configuration Facilities:
Some mobile public toilets are also equipped with 'sanitation stations', which include refrigerators, showers, microwave ovens, charging ports, and more, providing rest and replenishment areas for outdoor workers such as sanitation workers. Mobile environmental protection toilets are equipped with independent toilet pit zoning treatment systems, where the urine channel utilizes gravity flow, and the feces channel is cleaned by a piston-type scraper mechanical device, improving cleaning efficiency. Furthermore, they are equipped with automatic flushing toilet bowls and ventilation and lighting systems. Standard configurations include coat hooks, vanity mirrors, waste bins, lighting, exhaust fans, door locks, and occupancy indicators, while optional configurations include heating and cooling air conditioners, air purifiers, anti-freeze systems, heating systems, and background music, further enhancing the user experience.
