How Mobile Public Toilets Are Environmentally Friendly

Admin October 19, 2026

The environmental friendliness of mobile public toilets is mainly reflected in water-saving technologies, waste disposal methods, material selection, and sewage treatment.

Water-saving technologies: Mobile public toilets employ advanced water-saving designs. On one hand, based on new materials and water-saving technologies, they automatically collect hand-washing water and add special agents to achieve a flushing effect with only 0.46 liters of water per person, significantly reducing water consumption. On the other hand, some mobile toilets use vacuum suction technology, which sucks away dirt like a vacuum cleaner, requiring only half a bottle of mineral water for a single flush. Moreover, some high-end models can recycle hand-washing water, saving up to 90% of water compared to traditional toilets and effectively alleviating water scarcity issues.

Waste disposal methods: There are various environmentally friendly waste disposal methods. Microbial degradation mobile toilets use microorganisms to break down excreta into harmless gases and water, achieving harmless disposal of excreta and reducing environmental pollution. Packaging mobile toilets use biodegradable bags to package excreta and transport it directly away. This method is particularly suitable for places with high foot traffic, avoiding the accumulation and pollution of excreta on-site, and biodegradable bags do not have a long-term impact on the environment.

Material selection: In terms of materials, the frames of mobile toilets are welded from national standard steel, with surfaces covered with anti-corrosion and fire-resistant materials such as color-coated steel sheets or carved panels. Moreover, recyclable steel and plastics are used. The surface panels are not only fire-resistant but also rust-resistant, with a service life of over 20 years. Additionally, mobile toilets can be lifted and transported as a whole, making them convenient and flexible, and reducing resource waste caused by demolition and reconstruction.

Sewage treatment: The sewage disposal methods of mobile toilets mainly include water-flushing, vacuum suction, and biological degradation. Water-flushing toilets discharge sewage through pipelines into municipal sewer networks or septic tanks. Their sewage system designs must comply with relevant national standards to ensure smooth and environmentally friendly sewage disposal. At the same time, septic tanks are regularly cleaned to prevent blockages and odors, and water-saving measures are emphasized to reduce water waste.
