Mobile Public Toilet Design

Admin October 22, 2026

Mobile public toilet design needs to comprehensively consider core elements such as modular structure, environmental protection technology, intelligent management, and all-age friendliness to achieve efficient, sustainable, and user-friendly experiences.

I. Modular Structural Design The main structure of mobile public toilets is typically constructed using hot-dip galvanized square tubes or light steel keels, offering lightweight yet high-strength characteristics for easy transportation and rapid assembly. Each toilet cubicle has standard dimensions of 1.1 meters in length, 1.2 meters in width, and 2.55 meters in height, and can be expanded into multi-cubicle or multifunctional spaces through modular combinations. Exterior walls are made of metal carved panels or color-coated steel sheets, interior walls use aluminum-plastic panels or bamboo fiber boards, and the roof is covered with asphalt shingles, ensuring corrosion resistance, wind resistance, and aesthetic appeal. The foundation design employs anchoring devices with concrete bases, capable of withstanding typhoons of up to magnitude 9 and earthquakes of up to magnitude 7, ensuring stability in extreme environments.

II. Environmental Protection Technology Innovations The water-saving system reduces single flush volume to 0.01 liters using foam sealing technology, achieving a 98% water-saving rate; microbial degradation technology eliminates the need for flushing, utilizing bacterial colonies to decompose feces into harmless substances within 5-7 days. Sewage treatment is equipped with septic tanks or vacuum self-priming devices, with sewage pipes having a diameter of no less than 200 millimeters, and electric auxiliary heating anti-freeze systems installed in northern regions. Energy supply utilizes rooftop photovoltaic panels, meeting the electricity needs of 50 person-times per day, with booster power systems added in special environments like plateaus for low-carbon operation.

III. Intelligent Management IoT technology monitors toilet cubicle usage status, energy consumption data, and equipment failures in real-time, enhancing operational efficiency. Gravity sensors automatically activate disinfection sprays and voice reminders for left-behind items when a person leaves the toilet; temperature control systems cover extreme environments from minus 35 degrees to 50 degrees Celsius, with a control accuracy of ±1 degree, ensuring stable equipment operation. Smart paper dispensers, ultraviolet disinfection lamps, and other facilities further optimize hygiene conditions.

IV. All-Age Friendly Design The slope of barrier-free access is controlled within 2.7%, with a wheelchair turning space diameter of no less than 1.5 meters. The third toilet is equipped with standard child safety seats, call buttons, and folding nursing tables, with sanitary facilities including infrared automatic flushing devices and antibacterial handrails. The environmental control system strictly regulates ammonia concentration (≤0.3 milligrams per cubic meter) and hydrogen sulfide concentration (≤0.01 milligrams per cubic meter) to ensure air quality.
