Mobile Public Toilet Cleaning
There are various cleaning methods for mobile public toilets, with the common eight-step cleaning method and the fully automatic rotating toilet cleaning method in the Netherlands.

Eight-Step Cleaning Method
- Cleaning of the top and high areas: Use a broom to remove dust and cobwebs from the ceiling, walls, window screens, and lighting fixtures in public restrooms. These areas tend to accumulate dust and are often overlooked in daily cleaning. Regular cleaning can maintain overall cleanliness, prevent excessive dust from affecting air quality, and also prevent cobwebs from breeding pests.
- Wiping of easily accessible areas: Carefully wipe doors, windows, sinks, partition boards, window sills, walls, and switches with a cloth. These areas are frequently touched by people and are prone to leaving stains and bacteria. Wiping can remove surface dirt, reduce the risk of bacterial transmission, and provide a clean and hygienic environment for users.
- Scrubbing of sanitary fixtures: Use a brush to thoroughly scrub the scale inside squat toilets, sit toilets, and urinals. Scale on sanitary fixtures not only affects aesthetics but also produces unpleasant odors. Using a brush can effectively remove these stubborn stains and ensure the normal use and hygiene of the fixtures.
- Garbage removal: Sweep the garbage in both the interior and exterior areas of public restrooms and promptly clean the garbage in the trash bins. Timely garbage removal can prevent garbage from accumulating, producing odors, and breeding bacteria, thus maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of public restrooms.
- Floor cleaning: Use a mop to remove standing water on the floor to ensure cleanliness and tidiness inside. Standing water on the floor can easily cause people to slip and fall, posing a safety hazard. Promptly removing the water can ensure the safety of users and also keep the floor dry and clean.
- Facility inspection: Check whether facilities such as faucets, sensor devices, and clothes hooks are intact. If any damage is found, report it for repair in a timely manner. Ensuring the normal operation of facilities can facilitate their use by users and avoid inconvenience caused by damaged facilities.
- Disinfection and deodorization: Spray disinfectant on all door and window handles, faucets, and various switches in public restrooms at least three times a day, and turn on deodorization equipment or light deodorizing incense. Disinfection can kill bacteria and viruses, reduce the risk of disease transmission, and deodorization can improve the air quality in public restrooms and enhance user comfort.
- Tool return: Place cleaning supplies such as mops, brooms, and cloths in the tool room to ensure there is no clutter in public restrooms. Returning tools to their proper places can maintain the cleanliness and order of public restrooms and prevent tools from being placed haphazardly, which could affect the passage and use of users.
Fully Automatic Rotating Toilet Cleaning Method
In the Netherlands, for the fully automatic rotating public toilet, the moment the user leaves, water suddenly sprays out from the floor to flush the residue into a hidden drain. At the same time, the double toilets hidden in the wall start to rotate, moving the just-used one to the cleaning chamber and bringing a pre-prepared clean toilet to the use position. The flushing system can remove all garbage within 10 seconds, and the toilet seat is also cleaned. This cleaning method is efficient and fast, capable of automatically completing the cleaning process and reducing the workload and time of manual cleaning.
