Mobile Public Toilet Cleaning

Admin October 05, 2026

The cleaning of mobile public toilets should follow standardized procedures, incorporating professional equipment and techniques to ensure hygiene standards are met and environmental protection requirements are satisfied. The core steps can be divided into the following aspects:

I. Basic Cleaning Process (Eight-Step Method)

  1. Dust Removal and Wiping
Use a broom to remove dust and cobwebs from the ceiling, walls, window screens, and lighting fixtures to avoid dust pollution. Wipe down frequently touched areas such as doors, windows, handwashing basins, and partition boards with a cloth to reduce bacterial growth.
  2. Scrubbing and Sweeping
For alkaline scale in squat toilets, sit toilets, and urinals, use a specialized brush with a cleaning agent to thoroughly scrub. Simultaneously, sweep garbage from both inside and outside areas, and promptly empty trash bins to prevent odor spread.
  3. Disinfection and Deodorization
Spray chlorine-based disinfectant at least three times a day, covering all contact surfaces. Turn on deodorization equipment or light incense to neutralize residual odors. After cleaning, use slightly acidic electrolyzed water or hypochlorous acid disinfectant for雾化 (atomized) disinfection to kill pathogens such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
  4. Equipment Inspection and Storage
Check whether facilities such as faucets, sensor devices, and clothing hooks are intact and report for repairs if necessary. Store cleaning tools in the tool room to ensure no debris is left behind.

II. Professional Deep Cleaning Process

  1. Pretreatment and Protection
Operators must wear protective clothing, gloves, and masks. Check the liquid level indicator, sewage valve connection status, and ground leakage to prevent spillage of contaminants.
  2. Evacuation and Rinsing
Use a vacuum sewage suction truck (with a vacuum pump negative pressure of ≥0.08 MPa) to extract liquid and solid residues from the storage tank. Inject clean water to rinse residual matter from the tank walls. Then, use a high-pressure washer to spray the toilet walls, fixtures, and dead corners, and scrub stubborn stains with a cleaning agent.
  3. Deep Disinfection and Air Treatment
Evenly apply disinfectant to all contact surfaces, maintain contact for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse. Use atomized deodorizing agents to neutralize odors and improve air quality.
  4. Proper Disposal of Waste
Transport contaminants and cleaning wastewater to designated sewage treatment facilities. Produce organic fertilizer through solid-liquid separation and aerobic composting technologies. Treat sewage with an MBR membrane and reuse it for greening irrigation, achieving resource utilization.

III. Technical Requirements and Industry Standards

  1. Equipment Adaptability
For independent, trailer-mounted, or container-type mobile toilets, use suction tubes of different lengths and quick-connect fittings. Modern cleaning services incorporate intelligent sensors to monitor tank liquid levels in real-time and automatically dispatch orders, improving efficiency.
  2. Operational Safety and Supervision
In high-traffic areas or construction sites, plan routes and work schedules in advance to avoid areas with heavy machinery operations. Service quality is subject to dual supervision by health departments and event organizers. Regular service providers must establish cleaning records and undergo inspections, and operators must hold health certificates.
