Folding Method for Mobile Prefab Toilets

Admin October 06, 2026

There is no clear and unified standard for the folding method of mobile prefab toilets, but you can refer to the general folding steps for outdoor simple toilets. The details are as follows:

I. Basic Structure Handling

  1. Garbage Bag Removal If the toilet is equipped with a garbage bag collection system, first remove the garbage bag and properly dispose of the waste to avoid contaminating subsequent folding components. This step is crucial for ensuring hygiene and preventing odors.

  2. Support Structure Disassembly The support structure of a mobile prefab toilet is usually a metal or plastic frame. Remove it one by one from the four support points of the toilet seat. If the support structure is detachable (e.g., connected by snap fasteners), pull it out with force in the direction indicated in the instruction manual. If it is fixed, check for hidden folding joints (such as hinges or spring clips) and unlock them by pressing or rotating before folding.

II. Toilet Seat and Main Body Folding

  1. Toilet Seat Compression C-shaped toilet seats or similar structures usually adopt a compressible design. Hold both sides of the seat with your hands and apply pressure towards the center to shrink it to the minimum volume. Some seats may have built-in elastic materials and need to be secured with straps after folding to prevent rebound.

  2. Main Body Structure Folding If the main body of the toilet is a frame structure (such as a tent structure), first remove the coverings (such as nylon or waterproof cloth) and then fold it according to the original creases or instructions. When folding, pay attention to the following:

  • Symmetrical Folding: Fold from both sides towards the middle to maintain structural balance.
  • Avoid Hard Folding: If the material is plastic or composite board, bend it slowly along the preset creases to prevent breakage.
  • Secure Fasteners: After folding, secure it with fasteners or straps to prevent it from coming apart during transportation.

III. Special Component Handling

  1. Covering Storage Remove the nylon or tent from the support rods first, shake off the dust, and then fold it according to the instructions in the manual. If the fabric has a waterproof coating, avoid scratching it with sharp objects and store it separately in a waterproof bag after folding.

  2. Accessory Organization Put small accessories such as screws and support rods into a dedicated storage bag to prevent loss. If the toilet is equipped with a chemical treatment device or a water storage tank, empty the liquid, clean it, and store it separately.

Notes: The folding methods for mobile prefab toilets of different brands and models may vary. It is recommended to refer to the product manual first or contact the seller for specific guidance. If the manual is lost, observe whether there are markings (such as arrows or text prompts) at the structural connections or search for video tutorials on the brand's official website.
