Mobile Portable Toilet Pipe Installation
The installation of the sewage pipe for a mobile portable toilet can be carried out according to the following steps. If toilet relocation is involved, an offset flange (移位器) will be additionally required, and specific operations should be followed:

I. Basic Installation Process for the Sewage Pipe of a Mobile Portable Toilet
Preliminary Preparation
Thoroughly clean the installation site, remove obstacles, garbage, and sharp objects to ensure that the construction area is dry, level, and free from debris interference. If there are bumps or cracks on the ground, repair them in advance to prevent uneven stress on the pipes, which could lead to deformation or breakage.Site Selection and Positioning
Select the installation location according to usage requirements, which should meet the following conditions:
- Ground Levelness: The inclination should not exceed 5° to prevent sewage backflow;
- Sewage Disposal Convenience: Be close to the main sewage pipe or septic tank to reduce the use of elbows and lower the risk of blockage;
- Ventilation Conditions: Stay away from doors, windows, or vents to avoid the spread of odors indoors.
Bracket Installation
Fix metal or plastic brackets on the wall or ground according to the pipe direction and layout, with a general spacing of no more than 1.5 meters. The brackets should be installed horizontally, and their height should match the slope of the sewage pipe (usually a slope of 2%-3%) to ensure the natural flow of sewage.Sewage Pipe Laying
Select PVC sewage pipes (usually with a diameter of 110mm or 160mm), cut the pipes according to the actual length, and connect the interfaces using special glue. When connecting, pay attention to the following:
- The interfaces should be clean and free of dust;
- After applying the glue, quickly insert and rotate 1/4 turn to ensure a seal;
- Avoid construction in low-temperature or humid environments to prevent poor curing of the glue.
- Drainage Function Testing
- Dry Drainage Test: Seal the end of the sewage pipe, inject air into the pipe, and check for air leaks at the interfaces;
- Wet Drainage Test: Inject clean water and observe the drainage speed and water cleanliness to confirm that there is no blockage or leakage.
- Acceptance and Trial Use
Check all connection points, the stability of the brackets, and the smoothness of drainage to ensure that there are no odors or standing water. During the trial use period, continuously observe for 24 hours to confirm that there are no abnormalities before putting it into use.
II. Toilet Sewage Pipe Relocation Installation (Requiring an Offset Flange)
Select the Length of the Offset Flange
Select the appropriate specification (2cm-3m) according to the relocation distance. For short-distance relocation (≤30cm), an offset flange can be directly used. For long-distance relocation, it is necessary to adjust the slope in combination or switch to a wall-mounted toilet.Install the Offset Flange
- Insert the lower interface of the offset flange into the original sewage pipe, backfill and fix it with cement slurry to ensure that the interface is level;
- Connect the upper interface to the toilet sewage outlet, wipe the connection clean, apply PVC glue, install a sealing ring, and apply lubricant to prevent flipping;
- Fill and seal the gap after relocation with cement or waterproof material to prevent debris from falling in.
Precautions: After relocation, increase the drainage slope (it is recommended to be ≥3%) and reduce the number of elbows to lower the risk of blockage.
