Mobile Portable Toilet Materials

Admin September 21, 2026

The materials used for mobile portable toilets are diverse, commonly including fiberglass reinforced plastic, metal materials, plastic/composite materials, wooden materials, and other special materials, as detailed below:

Fiberglass reinforced plastic is made by compounding epoxy resin with glass fibers, featuring smooth and flat surfaces, rust-proof properties, and corrosion resistance. Its dense, seamless surface effectively prevents sewage infiltration and bacterial growth. Additionally, it is lightweight, supporting lifting, shoveling, or manual handling, making it suitable for temporary events and construction sites.

Among metal materials, aluminum alloy is widely used for skeletons and framework structures due to its lightweight and strong corrosion resistance. Its surface can be treated with oxidation or fluorocarbon spraying to form a protective layer, providing significant rust prevention and easy shaping to meet various design requirements. Stainless steel is renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly suitable for coastal areas, high-humidity environments, or chemically corrosive settings. It is commonly used for bathroom hardware (such as water tanks and pipes), door hinges, and some exterior finishes, ensuring long-term rust-free use.

In terms of plastic/composite materials, PVC panels are favored for internal partitions, wall panels, and ceiling panels due to their waterproof, moisture-proof, and easy-to-clean properties. Their surfaces can be printed with patterns to enhance aesthetics, and they are cost-effective for large-scale applications. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) panels offer high strength, impact resistance, and UV resistance, often used for bathroom floors and exterior decorations, withstanding outdoor aging effects.

Among wooden materials, pressure-treated wood can be used for internal decorations or external frameworks after pressure treatment, retaining a natural texture while possessing certain corrosion resistance. However, it requires regular application of anti-corrosion coatings for maintenance. Eco-wood, a composite of wood powder and plastic, combines the appearance of wood with the durability of plastic, offering superior waterproof and insect-resistant properties compared to natural wood, and requiring less frequent maintenance, making it suitable for scenarios with high aesthetic requirements.

Other special materials, such as rock wool sandwich panels, when used for ceilings or partitions, have rock wool fillings that effectively provide sound insulation and thermal insulation, with a fire rating of Class A, making them suitable for crowded areas or places with high safety requirements.
