Key Points for Constructing Mobile Portable Toilets
The construction of mobile portable toilets requires comprehensive consideration from multiple aspects, including structure, facilities, layout, site selection, rental process, and compliance, to ensure functionality and safety.

Basic Structure Construction
Material selection and fixation methods are crucial. One option is to modify a water storage tank: split it in half, install universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for mobility, use wooden strips and self-tapping screws to fix the upper side of the tank to increase height, and then install door frames, walls, and a roof after opening the sides. Alternatively, columns can be spliced and fixed, connected tightly with buckles to ensure structural stability. For flush toilets, a drainage pipe interface needs to be reserved; for dry toilets, a fecal collection device, such as a sealed bucket or a detachable fecal storage box, needs to be designed.
Facility Configuration
Odor prevention and safety design should be prioritized. The interior should be paved with anti-slip floor tiles and equipped with handrails to prevent slipping; the water consumption per flush for flush toilets should be ≤3 liters, and feces in dry toilets should be cleared every 24 hours. Clear signage should be posted externally, and reflective strips should be installed at night to enhance safety. If bathing facilities are equipped, a drainage pipe can be installed to form a floor drain, connecting to a water pipe-made bath heater, toilet, and water tank. The drainage pipe needs to be connected to a sewage bucket, and an extended water pipe can serve as the inlet pipe for the sink.
Layout Spacing and Quantity
Adjust dynamically according to pedestrian density. For large-scale events (such as concerts and exhibitions), at least one toilet cubicle should be provided for every 50-100 people, with a spacing controlled within 100 meters; for small temporary construction sites or markets, one mobile toilet can be configured for every 200 square meters. The layout should avoid passageways to prevent obstructing pedestrian evacuation.
Site Selection and Environmental Adaptation
Avoid low-lying flood-prone areas, and maintain a distance of at least 5 meters from dining areas and drinking water sources. For construction areas, hardened ground should be selected, surrounded by fences and green belts for isolation; for outdoor scenic spots, it is recommended to conceal them among trees or flower beds to minimize damage to the landscape. For long-term use, the coordination between the drainage system and the surrounding environment needs to be considered.
Rental Service Process Specifications (if rented)
Choose a formal rental company and require a complete service chain: conduct on-site surveys 72 hours in advance and complete installation and commissioning within 3 days; equip with a professional operation and maintenance team to inspect water, electricity, and hygiene conditions daily; complete clearance and facility restoration within 4 hours after the event ends. The contract should clearly specify emergency plans for sudden situations such as rainstorms and equipment failures.
Compliance and Acceptance Standards
Must comply with the 'Standards for the Installation of Urban Environmental Sanitation Facilities' and provide product quality inspection reports; the rental unit needs to have environmental protection department filing qualifications to ensure that wastewater discharge meets local standards. During the event, dedicated personnel should be arranged to guide and prevent human damage; after use, operation and maintenance personnel need to disinfect the interior and exterior of the toilet to prevent odor diffusion and the spread of germs.
