Mobile Pet Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

Mobile pet toilets are mainly divided into two categories: dog toilets and public pet toilets, with differences in design, functionality, and usage scenarios.

Dog toilets are portable excretion devices specifically designed for household pets, invented by a Dutch company in 2004. Their main bodies are made of high-strength resin materials, with internal sandwich structures that allow for the placement of specialized urine pads or absorbent mats, facilitating quick cleanup of excreta and reducing odor diffusion. Based on design differences, dog toilets can be categorized into three types: flat-panel types, which have a simple structure suitable for small dogs; grid types, which promote urine seepage through perforated designs to keep the surface dry; and fence types, which add side barriers to prevent excreta from splashing out, suitable for active and lively dogs. Their core function is to train pets to form excretion habits at fixed locations while simplifying household cleaning processes, especially suitable for indoor spaces like apartments.

Public pet toilets, on the other hand, fall under the category of public facilities, set up by communities, property management companies, or commercial venues (such as shopping malls) to address the issue of pets excreting randomly. Their design needs to balance practicality with environmental harmony: basic models typically use fences to demarcate specific areas, with natural materials like sand and gravel laid inside to facilitate pets in burying their excreta and reduce pollution through natural seepage; upgraded models are equipped with auxiliary facilities such as poop bag dispensers and civilized pet-keeping reminder signs, while public toilets in shopping malls may also add functional modules like cat-dog separation zones and drinking areas. Site selection requires research to prioritize high-frequency pet activity areas such as the edges of green belts and beside leisure paths, with dedicated personnel responsible for daily timed cleaning, disinfection, and replenishment of consumables to ensure hygiene standards.

It should be noted that mobile pet toilets are completely different in functional orientation from mobile environmental toilets used by humans. For example, information on mobile toilet prices in the Nanjing area mainly pertains to public restroom facilities, whose design standards, material selection, and maintenance modes are unrelated to pet-specific equipment and should not be confused in terms of usage scenarios.
