Mobile House Container Movement

Admin September 15, 2026

The movement methods and characteristics of mobile house containers are as follows:

Movement Methods

  • Overall Transportation: For standard container-style office buildings, such as those in 20-foot and 40-foot sizes, they can be directly transported as a whole using trucks and other transportation tools. During transportation, they are hoisted onto the transport vehicles like ordinary containers and then unloaded at the destination. This method is simple and straightforward, suitable for short distances or scenarios with low deployment time requirements.
  • Transportation After Folding: Foldable office buildings adopt a folding structural design, which compresses their volume during transportation. For example, the foldable containers from Suzhou Zhongnan have a volume after folding that is only one-fifth of their expanded state. A single truck can carry 20 sets of products at once, greatly improving transportation efficiency and reducing transportation costs. This method is suitable for scenarios requiring bulk and rapid deployment over long distances.
  • Modular Transportation and Assembly: Assembled office buildings are composed of light steel frames and color steel plates, and are assembled on-site in a modular manner. During movement, they can be disassembled into individual modules and transported separately to the new site for reassembly. Although this method is relatively complex, it can better adapt to changes in different sites and functional requirements.

Characteristics

  • Structural Robustness: Container-style office buildings are modified from standard containers and have a sturdy structure. They can withstand a certain amount of external impact and harsh environmental conditions, making them suitable for use in various complex environments, such as project departments and construction site command centers.
  • Transportation Convenience: Various types of mobile house containers take transportation convenience into account. In addition to container-style buildings transported as a whole, foldable and assembled buildings significantly reduce their volume through folding or module disassembly, improving transportation efficiency and reducing transportation costs.
  • Rapid Deployment: The unfolding time for a single set of foldable office buildings can be controlled within 30 minutes. Assembled office buildings can be flexibly expanded according to the number of people and functional divisions, enabling rapid deployment within a short time to meet urgent office needs, such as in exploration teams and temporary command posts.
