Mobile House Container Double Door

Admin September 15, 2026

The design of double doors in mobile house containers is usually related to the expandability, functional zoning, and usage scenarios of container houses. Currently, there are various types of container houses on the market that support double-door designs, with the main purposes of improving space utilization, enhancing ventilation and lighting, or meeting specific functional requirements.

1. Double-Door Design for Expandable Container Houses

Expandable container houses add lateral or end expansion modules on the basis of the container, increasing the usable area by 30%-50% when expanded. To enhance spatial comfort, these houses often adopt a double-door design:

  • Main Door + Expansion Module Door: The main door is located at the original end of the container for daily access, while the expansion module door is situated in the newly added lateral or end space, facilitating independent access or functional zoning management. For example, in long-term on-site office scenarios, the main door connects to the office area, and the expansion module door provides direct access to the rest area or conference room, reducing interference from personnel movement.
  • Double-End Door Design: Some expandable houses feature doors at both ends of the container, improving ventilation and enhancing emergency evacuation efficiency, making them suitable for use in high-temperature or high-humidity regions.

2. Double-Door Design for Assembled Container Houses

Assembled houses are constructed using light steel frames and color-coated steel sheets, assembled on-site in a modular fashion, allowing for flexible expansion based on needs. Their double-door designs are commonly seen in the following scenarios:

  • Functional Zoning Requirements: When the house is assembled into a multi-room structure, each independent functional area (such as office, storage, or restroom) can be equipped with an independent door, forming a double-door system of "main door + zoning door" to enhance usability.
  • Large-Scale Event Scenarios: In event planning sites or temporary offices in parks, assembled houses may be assembled into open halls, where double-door designs can disperse pedestrian flow and avoid congestion at the entrance.

3. Double-Door Design for Foldable Container Houses

Foldable houses adopt a folding structure design, compressing in volume during transportation and quickly expanding upon arrival. Their double-door designs are usually integrated with the folding mechanism:

  • Single Door in Transport State + Double Doors in Expanded State: In the folded state, to reduce volume, only one main door may be retained; after expansion, additional side or rear doors are added, facilitating functional adjustments after rapid deployment. For example, when an exploration team's temporary command post is expanded, the main door is used for personnel access, and the side door can connect to the equipment storage area.
